Redefining the Kingdom of God in a way that makes sense - 7 Mysteries of the Kingdom, Unlocked!

What is the Kingdom of Heaven?

Some say it is the Christian life, others Christianity and yet others the Church Others attach a moral connotation to it and speak of commitment, decisions, discipline and other heavily religious terms that all ring hollow with overuse. Disclaimer: The Kingdom of Heaven means none of those things and it is definitely open to the people's of every tribe, language, nation and people - period.

For as long as I can remember, I've heard these terms "Kingdom of God" and "Kingdom of Heaven" and yet no one EVER bothered to explain it. Somehow people use this terms in very undefined ways; it always seems to be a vague concept that can mean any number of things. It took a dream where Jesus appears for me to shake me out of this complete negligence on my part to seek this Kingdom with utmost singleness of mind and heart. And since that dream, defining the Kingdom has been something I've set myself to do.

What I also found was that Jesus spoke about the Kingdom far more than anyone else in the Bible. Now with this very short definition going back and seeing Yeshua's words about the Kingdom will make SO MUCH MORE SENSE.

Are you ready for it?

The Kingdom of Heaven is the manifestation of the power, reign, and authority of Jesus the Messiah, the King of all kings.

What does it mean to manifest? It means that something becomes readily perceived, especially by sight. It also means that something becomes easily understood or recognized.

When you travel from one nation to another, you encounter the various manifestations of each nation, represented by the laws of that country and how they are enforced. Discovering the Kingdom of Heaven, is like traveling to a New Country and we need to understand (perceive) it's Laws and how those Laws are applied in order to live well.

The Kingdom of Heaven has Laws or Principles and Jesus spent so much time making sure we were educated in them. Uncovering the secrets of this Kingdom starts by defining it as the manifest power, authority and reign of Christ.

Can you take a moment to ingest that?

How much of the manifestation of Jesus' power, reign, and authority do you want?
What is it you need to be able to see this manifestation?
What are the requirements to enter into it?
Who does this kingdom belong to?

Here are some really cool ways that this will give you more understanding:

1) To see the manifestation of the power of God, you need to be born again, born of His Spirit!

“Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”  John 3:3

2) The manifestation of the authority of God is already within you (the born again child of God); that's why we need not keep looking for outside signs and things like this to see it's coming.

When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Luke 17:20,21

3) The Lord's Prayer: May the Manifestation of Your Power, Authority and Reign come!

Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven... Yours is the reign, and the power, and the glory -- to the ages. Amen. Matt 6:10,13

4) The manifestation of the power and glory of God starts with a single Truth, like a seed, that takes root in singly focused heart and mind.

When any one hears the word of the kingdom... Matt 13:19
But the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold. Matt 13:23
The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Matt 13:31
(Matthew 13 should be referred to for context: I highly recommend reading this entire chapter for more on this).

5) The manifestation of the Power and Authority of God belongs to those who are have let go of their self-sufficiency.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:3

6) Let go of your self-sufficiency, change your heart and mind (this means to repent) and believe the incredibly good news of God's love for you... BECAUSE the manifestation of the Power and Authority and Glory and Reign of God Almighty is about to come powerfully on your lives.

These are the first words of Jesus' preaching:

“The time is fulfilled, He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” Mark 1:15

7) The True and Complete manifestation of the power, reign and authority of Christ does not originate in this world.

My kingdom is not of this world... John 18:36
