11 Awesome Verses of Healing from the OT!

We get that Jesus healed, but many of us doubt His will to heal today. They are uncertain, sometimes too uncertain to even ask. Without any question, God ALWAYS desires your healing.

Having said that,  these verses aren't mantras, but when you take God's Words and verbally pray with your mouth and meditate in your heart, the result is always powerful (see Ps 1, Josh 1 and Jer 17:7,8). I invite you to take a moment to read these ancient Scriptures and ask God to empower them in your life and reveal His will to you. God bless you!

Psalm 101:1-5
Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—  who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,  who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 107:20
He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
Proverbs 4:20-22
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.
Proverbs 16:24
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Proverbs 17:22
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 57:18,19
I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the LORD. “And I will heal them.”
Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.
