Speak the truth to see the truth

“I believed and therefore I spoke.” (2 Cor 4:13, Ps 116:10)

When God made light, He spoke to it, commanded it, even before it existed. He did not say ‘Let there be light’ vacantly into air, to no one. Instead, He said, as a command to the light when it yet didn’t exist “Light, exist!”. And Light began to shine! He told the earth “Earth! Bring forth vegetation” and earth brought forth vegetation. He called Abram, which means ‘Exalted Father’, Abraham, which means ‘Father of many’ when he had no children! And indeed Abraham became the father of many nations.

We are created in His image. So when one receives Christ, believing in His death for his sins, and resurrection from the dead, we are restored to this image even if our emotions and mind tell us otherwise. We now can speak blessing over our families, nations, and other people and expect them to be fulfilled. Even over trees and land, mulberry trees and mountains, just as Jesus said. So when you see sickness on you or a loved one, speak health to the body and command the sickness away, for “He bore our sickness and infirmities… and by His stripes we are healed!”. When you see poverty, command it away, for He “shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus!”. When you see and hear of the devil’s works, thievery, murder and destruction, speak restoration, “life and life abundantly”! So when evil crosses your path, speak the truth about the situation and you shall come to see it.

These things aren't always instantaneous but like a king who is sure that his commands will be followed, you can be sure your words are powerful, even unto death and life. Afterall, Jesus calls you kings! (Rev 1:6)
