God's favor finds you even if you fall a 1000 times!

"The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man." (Gen. 39:2)

We all have dreams. Joseph had two that would change his life... he dreamed that his ten brothers, mother and father were all bowing down to him. What would you do if you had that dream? Well, the next day at breakfast he got up and told them all! Imagine the look on Joseph's father face 'Oh son, what a stupid thing you've done!'. What's less difficult to imagine were the dark thoughts stirred up in the hearts of his step brothers. Rife with jealousy they kidnapped him, left him in a hole and then sold him to slave traders.

Joseph, however, was destined for greatness. God had called him to be the prime minister of Egypt, one of the most powerful positions in the world at the time! He had called him to be the savior of his entire father's house, a house that would become a nation. Yet despite Joseph's unwise blurting as a young man, God was always with Joseph and turned everything in his favor, at every step of the way. In slavery, he became the highest ranking servant. In prison, he became the chief warden's right hand man. And from prison, he got a one way ticket to becoming the top leader after Pharaoh.

Like Joseph, we are also called to be a great blessing; Jesus said we would do even greater things than He did! So when you make a mistake and all you see are the consequences of your stupidity, know that your Father's favor is greater than your foolishness. Because He is with you always and fills you with His favor, all things will work on your behalf for good for you and your house. Today, don't be afraid to fall and even if you do fail, remember this; His calling for you never will!
