We expect miracles from God... but what happens when God expects miracles from you?

They had just witnessed massive miracles. The ten plagues of Egypt. They had fled from the land of their slave masters where no salary was awarded for their work, laden with gold and silver. Now here they were, on the edge of the Red Sea, they stood on the hard, rocky land of the rugged Sinai. Behind them, they could see the dust of the army of Egypt. Hundreds of chariots led by the hard-hearted Pharaoh were now approaching fast. The people trembled and quaked. While the military machine of an empire closed in, the sea just sat there, as far as they could see it extended to their right and left. There was no where to go, no where to run.

Jesus gave you the power. Can you use it?

Imagine how Moses felt. He feared for his life, he feared for the millions he had just led out. This was his hardest test so far. What would we he do. He boldly told the people,

"Yahowa will fight for you! Do not fear!"

But he trembled and he made his fears known to God. And the Lord responded as He always does, but this time it was different. Instead of telling Moses to hunker down and watch plagues of fire rain down from heaven on the approaching armies, He told Moses something astonishing...

"Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it." Exo 14:15,16

I love it! Why do you cry to Me? Well who am I gonna cry to!? Do something Father! No, Son, you do something.... whoa! What an answer.

This is not for every believer. Before God told Moses that he was the man who would divide the seas, God trained Him to expect good things from Him, colossal, earth shaking miracles. His faith strengthened, Moses was now ready to do what he would not have been able to just a year before that day.

Today, realize that the answer to your insurmountable problems lies with you. In your heart and in your mouth, rooted in your faith... yes, your faith. Your faith is the victory that conquers the world. It is your faith in His goodness!

This is your heritage. This is your inheritance. Are you ready to step into it?
