One man can change the world...

Can one man change the fate of his nation? You're not an unknown face in a crowd of millions... you're a son and daughter of God. In this age of revolutions, you need to find out what the Bible says about this!

Tyranny, corruption, crime, social injustice, and immorality can plague your city or country. Some choose to shrug their shoulders and accept this reality as their fate while others rise and revolt with or without the sword. Those that take action scorn those who numbly sit on the sidelines, while those that are silent see themselves as wise but impotent in a system much larger then they. Where do you see yourself? To be honest, I refuse to be in either category. You see, these two types of people have one thing in uncommon; be it through unbelief or ignorance they don't expect the situation of their land to change for the good by God's hand. I want to tell you today, that one man, one woman, just like you, can change the fate of their country and provide a good future to their city.

Abraham asked God to spare the city on account of a few righteous souls. If he had asked for this on account of just one I am sure it would have been granted him. But he didn't and as a result a nation full of violence and injustice perished. If you believe that God's will is to bless your land and that He will indeed do so on your account, you shall live to see that change. Afterall, was it not by faith that great things like this were done in the past (Heb 11)?

Jesus calls you a priest (Mat 18:18, 1 Pet 2:9, Rev 1:6). This means you are the representative of your family, tribe, and nation to God. This is what it means to be a priest in the Biblical sense. There are not a few in the Bible who understood this very clearly. Perhaps later I'll talk about some of them. But today, I want to remind you... you are righteous by the blood of Christ. "When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices... By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked." (Prov 11:10,11). Did you get that? As a priest you have the authority to open your mouth and bless your city. As you cherish your righteousness you can begin to change the course of history just by blessing the land and being who you truly are! The Lord give you wisdom and enlighten your eyes to this truth. We live in an age of plentiful revolutions and oppression. But our fate isn't to follow the crowds mindlessly into submission or rebellion, it is to rise and bless the world as the righteous!

What say you? What do you think about this? I welcome your comments, whether your agree or not!
