The garden of your heart

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword" Heb 4:12

Have you ever planted a seed into the ground and watched it open out? When you pick up seeds to plant they look unpresuming. They are dry and small and seem lifeless, like rocks. Plant it into the soil, provide it with water, and then let the sun shine and watch it grow; even the greatest trees, the largest living things of the earth start out as these tiny seeds. God’s word is seed - its alive and powerful! The roots of trees can even crush rocks! Don’t only listen to the Word of God… meditate on it as its roots dig deep into your heart and then speak the word to see it flourish, flower and bare fruit! Whatever you may face in your life, hear, think and say the words of your Father. Bless your loved ones too with the promises of Christ and His truth. And then watch the kingdom of God become manifest and grow. When Jesus spoke such seed, He pronounced that they shall bare fruit 30, 60 and 100 times more… with perseverance! So even if the seed of God’s words still hasn’t sprouted and broken the soil, be patient, nourish it in your heart and keep on confessing it with your mouth. And as you do this, sit back, enjoy and relax… If Jesus said it shall bare fruit, then it shall bare fruit!
