But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.1 John 1:7

You're here because you feel unclean. You've sinned again. And this is for you.

As you read these words, imagine what you read. I want to show you what happens to your guilt.

You're before a fountain in a garden, there are stone walls somewhere in the garden, making it an enclosure. This enclosure is in fact your Father. He has hemmed you in on every side, protecting you. There is the fountain, it is in the middle. Trees grow around it, sun streaming through their leaves, flowers coloring the whole scene, both near the ground and high up.

The water is flowing through the fountain. Hear it gushing forth continuously. It waters all the plants and trees in this enclosure so that even if there is drought, they are always vibrant. Now that you are listening, you notice the sound of melodic birds. Each one reminding you of Jesus' words, "though they neither sow nor reap, your Heavenly Father feeds them."

If the enclosure is the Father, the fountain is Jesus, it's water His blood. Does it stay stagnant? Or is it constantly flowing? He is the well that shall never dry. His blood is all powerful, capable of removing the strongest stain of sin, so strong that it has cleansed you of ALL yours - past, present and future.

Do you see it? Now you can rise and walk in this joy. Your constantly forgiven. And that makes you want to stay and linger more in this garden.

End of post ๐ซ
David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-86065894474102313862024-02-11T09:53:00.001-05:002024-02-11T09:56:12.634-05:00Finding Jesus w/o Christianity

Jesus is not Christian.

He is The Christ. What does that mean?

He is the Annointed One, God incarnate - He is God offering up Himself as a Sacrifice that atones for all of Humankind, forgives all sin and breaks every barrier between the Humans and Creator. All humans. No if's and but's. Are you a human? You're included, regardless of any other characteristic attached to you.

Many people talk of "salvation for all" but there's all fine print in the contract. Jesus never stopped anyone from coming to Him with fine print. He saw every human soul as the object of His love. "For God so loved the world..."

He is not Christian.

Ok, but is He Jewish, then? (We desperately try to label Him so we can fit Him into a man-made box).

He was raised as Jewish (one of it's many brands found around Canaan back 2000 years ago, born in the Palestinian town of Bethlehem, raised in another Palestinian town of Nazareth.)

And while He was raised Jewish, He was also Jew - being Jewish and a Jew are not the same. The former speaks of a religion; the latter a subset of the Israelite ethnicity, the tribe of Judah.

But Jesus was not Teaching Judaism, nor did He teach Christianity. In fact, He did not come to install any religion. (Nor did He ever favor one race or nation above another, for that matter!)

One of His sayings that people use to erroneously think He does, is one where He says He came to fulfill the Hebrew Scriptures, not abolish its teachings. (Undoubtedly, numerous Hebrew Scriptures prophetically depict Jesus and His Sacrifice on the Cross so amazingly).

The reason He had to specifically say that He didn't intend to abolish the Hebrew Scriptures was because His teachings were so alien to the Jewish (religious) mindset. Few of His contemporaries had ever been able to understand from their own Scriptures that God wanted to enter into a Covenant not just exclusively with the sons of Israel, but all human kind, that Righteousness was something Jesus' sacrifice would make available to all (regardless of whether they followed Jewish or other religious laws and edicts).

So no. He was neither Christian, neither Jewish, nor any other religion.

And that brings us to whether we can find Jesus in other religions. My answer: Jesus can be found in EVERY religion. You just have to look. It's not the laws, but the heart of any one; those who seek, will find.

In this blog, I speak about the Aum, the 786 and hidden things in the Aum that pertain to Hindu and Buddhist traditions.

Islam also echoes the Gospel's words in calling Jesus "the Word of God" (in Arabic Kalamat Allah ููู ุฉ ุงููู ). Not even many Christians of our times understand this; they think the Bible Scriptures, the written word is Supreme - at least they behave that way - and the One Word of God, Jesus - is secondary or subsequent to the Bible.

Dispersed throughout every religion, the ancient and forgotten alike, are echoes of God becoming Man (I.e. Humankind, female and male, all peoples, all colors). For example, the Brahmans, a priestly Hindu caste, have Vedic Scriptures that speak of this (God becoming Man and Sacrifice for all Mankind) which adds to the theory that the Brahmans are descendants of Abraham's other sons from Keturah (who I think is really Hagar) his second wife.

But the specifics are not so important and are going to be debatable, if not massively controversial.

So let me get personal. It doesn't matter what religion or denomination YOU find yourself referring to yourself at this moment. It might be any, it doesn't matter.

Jesus does not belong to any religion. Religions all stake their claim to the Creator. Instead, we all belong to Him. And those who seek Him, find Him.

Are you here because you seek Him?

Then go and find Him. In your heart, within your being, beyond just your intellectual arguments or the religious beliefs you were taught and/or embraced, beyond your atheistic precepts, or woke neo-religious ideals...

Beyond all that you already know. So why bother yourself with this blog if you already know? ; )

David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-64327790125893390152024-02-10T09:44:00.000-05:002024-02-10T09:44:28.590-05:00Your Desires can be your Downfall

Be weary of the siren calls of desire.

Are you familiar with the story of Odysseus, on his way back from the Trojan war, he and his crew were tempted so badly by the sirens' enchanting calls. To answer those calls and seek them out would mean death. So he ordered his crew to plug their ears with beeswax. He however wanted to hear the siren songs, so he had his men tie him to the mast securely. He almost went insane with desire and became the only man to have heard the siren-monsters without dying.

Desires are like those sirens - evil monsters dressed in heavenly garments. In fact, as the way with these stories go, Homer's intent for it was probably to warn us from desire.

Desires can be base, carnal and fleshy - lust, greed, vain ambition; but they can also appear wholesome and well-intentioned; a hero complex, wanting to be richer to provide for your family, even evangelsitic - both types have their dangers, yet the latter is most challenging.

Jesus Himself was tempted with Desire. When the Spirit led Jesus into the desert literally to be tempted - He was tempted to satisfy hunger, reveal His power and accomplish His ascension as King of kings, all through Desire.

He resisted successfully.

What are your desires today? Are they holy, are they reasonable, are they shameful? Think on them but realize that it matters not. Instead, examine how these Desires invade and then occupy your soul. Your entire day is spent obsessing over them or perhaps low-key thinking on them somewhere in the back of the mind at all times.

Where do these Desires come from? Better yet, are these Desires helping to fill your heart with Joy? Do they help you feel grateful for what you have now? Do they root you firmly into the present so you are able to live in wonder, today and now, at all that is in your life presently?

Desires are theives in disguise. They feed on the longing of your soul, they make you want what you don't have. Where will these wants take you?

My last question to you: what if you didn't desire what you desired? What if you let them float away, like a butterfly fluttering across the garden, let it go, let them all fly away. Observe them creeping into your life, and do not attempt to capture them, cultivate them or keep them. Why tempt yourself.

Who is the man of indomitable spirit? The man who observes his desire and refuses to heed their enchanting calls.

Your heart desires one thing. God. He is the fulfillment of the One True Desire of all desires... all desires, are but shadows of some element of God.

God has freely given you His Spirit, His Son's blood shed for that privilege. But it is not in our nature to be grateful for what seems to have been given to us so easily and freely. (It came at the most infinite cost and difficulty beyond our ability to fathom).

Today, I want to take care of all that is in my care and purview to watch over. Grateful, steadfast, my eyes focused on the inward call of the Kingdom, the upward prize of being simply righteous (because of His gift and not my doing).

How can I honor His gift of righteousness and Spirit in me? That is what must concern us.

For some of us that might mean you comb your hair and fix your house. For others it might mean being fully present at work, rather than daydreaming of being elsewhere and complaining that it's Monday. For others it might be letting go of a crush on someone who clearly does not reciprocate your affections. Career goals, other ambitions and projects, are you grasping straws? Led on by social media posts motivating you to hustle yourself to death.

Be free of Desire. I have suffered greatly from chasing Desire, while being barely thankful for all of the Lord's goodness and loving-kindness chasing me all my life.

Learn from me, cultivate the One Desire hand-in-hand with Gratefulness for His Grace. I wonder what your life will look like when you do. I wonder what kind of man you'll be when this becomes your reality : )

"Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you." 1 John 2:15
David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-75557504292414833152024-02-09T10:16:00.000-05:002024-02-09T10:16:35.551-05:00Follow Jesus, Be a Heretic

Jesus is heretical. Don't mince it. And the reason why: He removes every reason for religion to exist.

Every religion.

He is spiritual, but illegal.

Merciful, as if God.

Wise, even in silence.

Above all, He is God who demands nothing and gives everything. His own Life, by His own will alone.

Religion has taught you that you must sacrifice. You must make legal amends for sins, but only in a certain way. It gives you a little check list of menial, small rules: don't touch this, pray like that, say this and that, eat this but not that, go to the place of worship, give your money, your time, give your life.

And for those more zealous they tell you to go and convert or condemn your fellow humans, judge them, devalue them, displace them, persecute them, and finally $!11 them. No? Just look around you. From India to Gaza, from the Inquisition to the Crusades. It's a recurring, all too common theme.

Then you get Jesus: He comes and says, I make the sacrifice. I AM THE LAMB OF GOD AND GOD HIMSELF. What value is your religion? The religious leader of congregations, the gurus of the land, and shepherds of the community - their role might seem useful, but suddenly their edicts become weak, impotent and of little value.

Robes, saints and temples (and neo-religious wokeism), Jesus destroys their reason to exist with a simple word: Love God and love your adjacent fellow human as yourself.

Whether Jesus walked the streets of Jerusalem (that today daily witnesses Apartheid, Racism and Religious Extremism on par with a dystopian vision like Hunger Games), or whether he sat on a boat by the shores of Galilee's lake conversing with small scale fishermen, or whether He trekked through the foothills of Lebanon, a land of lost Israelites and their Canaanite cousins; He never once put up barriers between God and the humans around Him.

Religion is an expert at keeping you far from God. It excludes. It falsely exonerates those most far from God though they think of themselves as the opposite. It's a lie. Religion is the real meaning of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They ate its fruit and died.

And Jesus chopped it down. He is the Tree of Life. Sit at His roots, gaze at the Sun shining through its boughs reaching to the heavens, and listen to His words, the Wind of the Spirit rustling its healing, evergreen Leaves.

Jesus is Life. Eat of Him. And Live, finally.

David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-19571227431257072442024-02-06T08:57:00.000-05:002024-02-06T08:57:19.237-05:00Forget Ambition, Live to Serve

I lived in the future. Never the present. People saw me as a visionary leader, for sure he shall be a great and inspiring leader of men, they said. And I relished it. I took risks. I wanted to be rich (so I could change the world, I told myself). I started many endeavors (both in the spiritual sense snd business world), I rallied men to my cause and embarked on many a project. My secret superpower was to mobilize men to my cause.

However, a disturbing pattern began to emerge. At every corner, I realized that closed doors stood in my way, while those who were less endowed faired better. And then my life came apart and I realized Who the DoorKeeper closing all those ways was.

What if you didn't dream of tomorrow and lived fully today? What if you stopped letting your dreams of glory and destined greatness shackle you in an invisible cage.

The world lifts up the kind of success that is not your success. A success won through blood, sweat and tears often at the cost of your health, your (would-be) family and even your soul.

Oh what was it it that the Wise One said somewhere? "What would it profit a man if he gained the whole world but lost his own soul?"

That is precisely why He kept me from entering those doors... until I learned humility. Until I opened my eyes that the Leader of all leaders lived (and died) to serve.

And it was liberating.

If you wake up in the morning and realize that you are here to serve your wife (husband), your kids, your family and to work in a profession to serve your team (whether you're in a leadership position or not) and to serve society for the good, your life will go much smoother.

The world says "Look at my Glory, and come worship me", it makes you feel you are missing out. But you will never miss out when you seek His Kingdom first. The One who created the world in its glory invites you to die with Him so you too can live with Him.

The world tells you that you are the goal, your fulfillment in the world can only come through your efforts alone (infused with whitewashed greed, selfishness, narcissism and vain ambitions).

Enough is said. What will you do today? Shall you continue to deam of a life self-realized with all the pleasures your heart so desires? Or will you let go of the sweet siren calls of the world to serve those who are in front of you and with you now?

David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-81418773947906758582024-01-13T10:00:00.001-05:002024-01-13T10:00:54.985-05:00Why Me?

If you're struggling with spiritual visions, dreams and other spiritual phenomenon that torment, terrify and confuse you, this is for you.

It's been my experience that people can feel tormented by visions and dreams. They may start as cool things but there's a type of spiritual phenomenon that'll create feelings of self-hatred, make you feel like shit, guilty or like something is wrong with you (e.g. spiritual awakenings, so-called twin flames, nightmares).

If you're going through that, firstly you must know - God doesn't hate you. And there is nothing wrong with you. Attracting demons and demonic interference that makes you feel down, worthless, hopeless and discouraged can have a few reasons.

You are either inviting demons to target you with their thoughts (demons are not like little red devils, they look or can lool like angels of light) but they need human negativity, its their mission. They can be invited through our actions, but many times for no identifiable cause (and that's the case I'm addressing here) and when they do it feels like they attach themselves to those having these kind of unsolicited spiritual visions, that seems to have come from no where or for no reason you can think of. You were just minding your busines when one day, bam! You experience these phenomenon and it suddenly takes over your life.

Now listen, you are a son/daughter of God... as a father, let me tell you, we love our children to death no matter what they do. These visions and dreams can make you feel ashamed or tormented, they may make you feel tempted but are too strong for you to dismiss as random dreams. They may sound so spiritual that you will wonder if its from God, but the negative emotions you feel will also make you question if they are coming dark spirits. And thus you'll be torn between wanting to pay attention to them because they seem as if from God and wanting to completely forget them because they seem to tempt and torment you. And you experience this massive internal dissonance, you may feel responsible for them and like something is broken in you.

In a moment, let me share with you some biblical stories that will show you that God cares, you need not feel guilty and maybe they will help you get some insight into why God allows this to happen.

You see, you are not broken in the sense that you need fixing, you do not need to find things to numb the pain, or for you to forget, to medicate yourself through drugs, drinks or activities just to escape the torment of this very spiritual phenomenon that has very real affects on your mind and even body.

It can get to the point where you are saying and thinking:

"Why oh why can't you just fix me?

When all I want's to feel numb

But the medication's all gone

Why oh why does God hate me?

When all I want's to get high

And forget this so-called life"

Like the song by Rx, called Medicate

Consider these heroes of faith:

The story of Ayoub or Job is the oldest in the Book. His name means hated one. He was a very very righteous man. But one day, satan challenged God and God let Satan bring calamities to Job. Job felt that it was God who was tormenting him, even on his bed with dreams and visions... as if God cooperated indirectly with Satan.

Job would lose everything - his health, his children, his wealth and even his mental peace. And you know the rest, how God restores him to an even greater fullness. I share this to show you, even if dark forces are attacking you - it is not beyond God's control.

Then there is another story of a young righteous man, Daniel; God also sent him visions and dreams. These things terrified him. They were so powerful he became physically sick for 3 weeks. I myself experienced something similar and felt sick for 3 days, couldn't even eat. But God told him to write and "seal it" and they would surely happen. Daniel's prophecies came true 4 centuries later.

People say visions and dreams from God should not rob you of peace, as if they are all roses and lilies. The truth is the spiritual dimension can be a jarring place for us to see, it can torment us and have profound affects on our mind and even personality. I wouldn't recommend anyone go and actively seek them, but that's for another day. (Other articles on this blog may say different things; I wrote them, but years ago. I don't want to delete them because we need different things for different parts of our own spiritual journeys and I don't want to hide that I am also on one myself.)

Then there is Jesus. The SPIRIT led him into the desert to be TEMPTED by the devil. Let that sink in since it will give you insight; this is God cooperating (really commanding) the devil. Satan tempted Jesus with visions and dreams and yet it was the Spirit who led Him into the place where this would happen.

I can also mention Abraham and his wildly weird and dark visions, Joseph whose dreams made his brothers so jealous they sold him into slavery, but decades later his dreams came true and Joseph saved a civilization and his own family. And many others biblical stories of their kind.

The question is not "why me?", "why is the devil or God doing this? or even "who is it from? what is the source of these visions and dreams; divine or devilish, from heaven or 'hell'?"

Its happening. Its real. And its horrible.

The question is what happens to you as a result of these visions/dreams.

They will torment you, they will tempt you, they will deceive you, warn you, terrify you... yes but there is something else you are not seeing.

They will destroy your image of your self (because it is built on many lies).

They will force you to abandon your ambitions and personal dreams/goals (bad ones) becauese they are NOT good for you.

They will cause you to redefine what is important, your own values will change because what you value now is shit.

They will BREAK YOU DOWN.

And it may take many years.

But the new you that rises like the phoenix will be so good and true and strong and full of light...

There is a purpose to all this.

If anything, this is happening because you ARE MEANT FOR MORE then vanities and false gods (desires) you chase.

And the only way He gets you to cross over to that new land (that more wholesome, God centered life He wants you to live on earth here) is to destroy from the inside the things that are evil for you. Your pride is broken so you can learn humility and yet understand how much God values YOU irrespective of things that have given you self-pride.

In the end, your very core will change, your personality and character, it will become TRUE to the real you as daughter/son of God- which is who you are but you don't know it yet so fully.

Its not about religion but freedom, freedom from the world and the lies you've swallowed all your life.

So no, this isnโt happening because you are unworthy or bad... its happening precisely for the opposite reasons. (I am not suggesting this to be true for those who intentionally seek out such phenomenon from unknown spirits etc).

You are too precious and your life too precious to waste it on stupid vanities

Take heart. You are the Beloved. Nothing will harm you.

Above all, always stand in your Righteousness... even more so when you are tormented and disturbed.

Remember my words.
David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-48325542405432883822021-07-17T11:27:00.000-04:002021-07-17T11:27:07.738-04:00I Am... Nothing
We are bombarded by the message that you have to achieve. You have to be someone great. You have to seize opportunities. I get it. Far too many are living on autopilot, their lives are simply in a default mode, they are without goals, ambition and drive. So you've got the hustlers who are goal-oriented and seizing life by the horns and you've got the drifters who are helpless and ignorantly just floating down the stream of life.

But is there a third way? A better way? A God way?

I came in this earth with nothing, naked. And I will leave with nothing. Whether that day is in one tomorrow or ten thousand more, I don't know but it begs the question... if I came with nothing and will leave with nothing, then it's all a vanity to tie my self-worth and self-image to what I have done, to who I am as a man, and to what I've accumulated.

Some people realize this while they're ahead. Others need to crash and burn and realize they are nothing to reach this point (this is what happened to Moses by the way, he was 40 years old). I'm the latter, like Moses. Though I am blessed in unfathomable ways, though I've gone through this pandemic and just as Psalm 91 says, it did not touch me (I did catch Covid, but I am speaking from a life standpoint - I was so well supplied through it all, as a family we grew, we enjoyed even the pause, my health has never been better, we're living in abundance)...

But on the other hand, and if I am honest, I am now lost, my career broken, my finances are nothing to speak of though somehow, I live without debt and with so many material blessings and abundance. It in fact defies logic. My family, my strength and my health and all these blessings - none of them were achieved by me. I can't take the credit for any of it. God was the one who enabled all of it.

And I reached the point of why try at all? What am I supposed to do when every door I sought closed shut in my face, and the doors I did not even knock on opened?

And then I saw God. He invited me to pass the veil that led to His presence. And He told me: most people come to My presence and stop at the veil. They look at the veil and study everything written on it. They learn about Me and My laws and all that. But they don't step in through it to be with Me. He told me then, that veil is actually religion of every kind.

So I went in through the veil. And I said, I am nothing. I am not the man I want to be. I have achieved nothing by the strength of my arm nor my intelligence.

And He said, You are empty. Now go and fill yourself with My waters and let the overflow take care of the rest. Don't concern yourself with the overflow. You just jump in and fill yourself with Me.

So there I imagined myself, a well and that I had to dig a path for the waters of life to fill the well and then I said, no there must be an easier way. So I imagined myself as a frog and jumped into this Heavenly Fountain, so light blue and full of radiance and goodness. And I just sat there.

I am nothing. I need to be filled. And though I am forty, I feel like my life has just begun... here at the realization that I am nothing, sitting in the pool of life like a frog. Its now your turn to jump in.
David Roielhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18425584319034122218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4838899774384395814.post-57148909551592352202019-04-15T10:06:00.001-04:002019-04-15T10:06:03.255-04:00Why does God ask for Sacrifice?

He does not. He never did.

I was asked by my son, why did Jesus have to die?

And it got me thinking. For all human history man has offered sacrifices to God. Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacobโฆ and then Moses delivers the Israelites from Egypt, God delivers this people from slavery to Egypt and by unbelief and incredulity they ask for the Law only to be enslaved by it again with more rules and regulations, most of it about sacrifices. Today, halakhic Judaism keeps the Jewish people enslaved to regulations and rules, there is a level of observance you can have that suits anybody - and it is one thing, slavery. Itโs not only the Jewish mindset, itโs the global religious mindset that even the non-religious people adopt - that God requires from you sacrifice, rule keeping, and things of that natureโฆ does God need anything from us?
Make no mistake of it; our interpretation that God requires sacrifice is the making of man and not the saying of God - itโs is something that entered our minds only after Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Iโll call it here, the KOGE tree). You see when Adam ate the KOGE fruit, it created in Adam a consciousness of good and evil - not life. Itโs good to see good! But evil is nothing.

Think of Light. The Book never says that God spoke darkness into existence. That is because darkness does not exist. Light, on the other hand, God conceived in His mind and spoke it into His existence and so Light exists. (Hey you, dear reader, understand what it means then that you are created in the Image of God!).

Physicists have observed the evidence of 'invisible' matter they describe as โdark matterโ. Some may think that if matter and dark matter collide they cancel each other out somehow (but this is not proven). No matter what happens when matter and dark matter collide, the point is, dark matter is something and not nothing like the nothingness of darkness. Itโs just another type of matter, just like Light. Light is something. But darkness is nothing, it does not exist.

So what about Good and Evil? God is Good! God is Light! God is Life! But neither evil nor darkness nor death exist!!! These only entered our mind when we became conscious of the lack or absence of Light, Life and Goodness! By becoming conscious of the lack of Light, we named and observe darkness, the same applies for Life and death, Good and evil. We named and observe death, we named and observe evil. Something should be said of Job here โThe very thing I feared has come to passโ he said - Job was a man who obsessed by the fear of harm and everyday offered sacrifices. That is the way of life on earth, what you observe in your mind, you create, whether it is Life you observe or death. O that we had never been awakened to the nothingness of these enemies of man!

(There is in physics the concept that observing something, changes the way it is - and that if it is not observed, it does not exist!)

So where does that leave us with sacrifice? Ever since Adam ate of the KOGE fruit, Adam and humankind after him all now have come to believe that God requires Sacrifice (I think in particular of Noahโs sacrifice after the flood waters receded) - the knowing of evil, somehow creates in them the misunderstanding that God would ask for something from the humanrace.

Thatโs why God sent His Son - His very Self - to lay down His Life as the LAMB OF GOD, the ONE SACRIFICE - GOD OFFERED FOR ALL HUMANKIND, FOR YOU AND I, EVERYONE. And we are about to see the Pierced One (Zech 12:10) and we will understand, we have completely got it wrong!

He sent His Son, understand this means God the Father manifested in human flesh, to be sacrificed precisely to destroy in us the consciousness of Good and evil, Life and death, Light and darkness and in so doing, to awaken in us only the consciousness of LOVE - His Goodness, His Life and His Light to enjoy with Him, in Him, as Him, for ever and ever. God is Love and we are in Him and He in us. Nothing more needs to be said.

We always ask โwho is Godโ? But these days I have begun to ask โWhat is God?โ Not that He isnโt a Living Being, A Person, if you will โ but rather What is His Essence. Jesus describes God as โSpiritโ (John 4:24) literally โBreathโ.
Now I want you to take a step back here. What is Godโs Name? It is โI AMโ I want you to think this through thoroughly because there is so much confusion and mystery around the Name and rightly so. Observant Jews of the day, even after millennia are actually so obsessed by itโs power they are afraid to pronounce it โ though it was never forbidden to do so in their Torah.

So God has answered the question Himself about โwho He isโ and โwhat He isโ. He is Spirit โ the Divine Breath โ the Great, Universal, Divine Consciousness!

What is consciousness? It is self-awareness. What does it mean to be created in Godโs image now? It means we are created in the โI AMโโs image, in the image of this consciousness and are of His Breath โSpiritโ โ all of us, man and woman, all humankind - of all the creatures of Godโs creation, He did for us what He did not for any other thing, โlivingโ or not โ namely, He blew into the dust of earth with His โBreathโ creating humans!

You see that is how we are in Godโs image. We are the most self-aware beings with the highest levels of consciousness in the Universe (unless He created other beings in His image away from earth who also share this privilege) among all His creation. This is why angels look at us with a certain longing as Peter says in (1 Pet 1:12). Angels are sophisticated and powerful beings it seems but they are not created in Godโs image, in the Image of the I AM, the Divine Consciousness that defines us over and above every thing in Creation.

So what does this really mean? This is where it gets really, really juicy. This is where the rubber meets the road, this is where lives are changed!

Are you ready for it? I haven't even scratched the surface.
One thing I can't understand about the vast majority of Christians - they always put barriers to keep you from benefiting from Jesus' teachings. "Wait" they say, "First you must have the right beliefs about our doctrines..." or "But this doesn't apply to everyone, only to the believers". But Jesus Christ never put barriers between people based on their beliefs, lifestyles or ethnicity... never!

Instead, Jesus would regularly divulge the secrets of Heaven to any who would simply listen... that's it, so simple, if you have ears to ear, you listen! There was no qualifications necessary other than to be human. Are you a human? Well, then that's it... you qualify!

Secret #1 - We are God's Children - We are One with God - We are gods

"Our Father in Heaven"

This is how Jesus taught ALL of humanity to pray like... He told the crowds, full of Jews, Gentiles, Samritans, Caananites, Romans, Egyptians, and all the peoples of the melting pot that the land of Israel consisted of during that day to pray like this. Call God - Father! My Father, our Father, your Father.

Back then, and more so in the cultures of the east today, your children are considered your flesh and blood. Today, Westerners speak about independence and some even cast their children out at 18. They are disconnected, from their own flesh and blood but not so in Jesus' time and in the East. Cultural differences aside, I want you to see what it means to call God - Father - when Jesus taught us to pray.

It means you are 100% of the flesh and blood of God (See these two posts on what it means to be created in God's image and likeness). You are essentially gods. Being sons and daughters of the Divine Father means you are gods, of Divine Nature, of a single, united Nature of God.

He was speaking about the unity of humankind with God - male and female. One in God. Take a look at John 15, or consider the Old Testament Scriptures "I said, You are gods" (Ps 82:6) that Jesus Himself quoted.

They accused Jesus of blasphemy telling Him that โBecause You, being a Man, make Yourself Godโ (John 10:33) they were about to stone Him. But He responded:

"โIs it not written in your law [in Psalms 82:6], โI said, โYou are godsโโโ? If He [God] called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, โYou are blaspheming,โ because I said, โI am the Son of Godโ?โโ (John 10:34-36).

You are One with the Creator, the Heavenly Father. I don't take care about your religion and neither does the Messiah (Jesus didn't come to start the religion of Christianity as the Jewish people of today say and many others think). Religion is in fact the tree of knowledge of good and evil that brings only death to the world. Yes, most people operate and act in total ignorance or even defiance of this truth; but there is an awakening and it is time for the Christians especially (because they are most familiar with Jesus' words) to unpackage these truths from the deceptive wrappings of religion that has bound both them and their hearers to a defeated life.

Realize today, you are One with the Father. See others in this light. Consider Jesus' attitude in holding this truth as God's Son. Great things come to those who start to act like their Creator Father, greater things even!
Secret #2 - The Name of God on your lips

"Hallowed be Your Name"

Do you know what the Name of God is? It's one of the most powerful Biblical concepts. It held so much potency that eventually the Jewish people became too afraid to say it. The real power here has little to do with how the pronunciation of God's Name is made, but rather how you embrace it! I AM.

Jesus was highlighting this in the example to prayer. First you remember your unity with God and who you are. And now, you reconsecrate the Name on your Lips. This truly is a very empowering truth.

When you hallow God's Name, you set it apart on your lips. You never take the I AM in vain. Meaning, you are careful how you think about yourself in the first place (many people focus solely on the words spoken by the lips, but really all of that starts in the heart and how you think of yourself!). You take care to attach what you want to that name. You no longer attach silly, idle and foolish thoughts and declarations to the I AM.

How do you think of yourself? Who are you? How are you? Most people think of themselves in the normal and negative. They have limited themselves and denied their union with God and the image of God in them.

I AM - how powerful. If you just keep saying this to yourself for the next minute you will feel its power. God's Breath is in you and just saying I AM you remember it and acknowledge it. What a statement of confidence, of being, of presence. I AM.

If you are in a hard situation, take a pause, breathe, and say I AM. I elaborate much more on this thought here.

Secret #3 - Command into being the Kingdom, for God empowers but religion disempowers.

"Your Kingdom come"

This wasn't a plea. Many of us think the Lord's prayer is to be prayed with closed eyes, kneeling and begging the Father. But this is not the case. Jesus taught us to bring forth into being what we want by imagining it and feeling it as if it is.

"Tell the Mountains to Move and believe it is so according to what you say and do not doubt and the mountain shall do as you say!" (rough paraphrase of Mk 11:23)

Here is the mark of religion - religion teaches you to beg and be dependent. It tells you that you have no power, that you are not accepted, that you are guilty, that you are wretched, that you not appreciated, and above all that you are NOT unconditionally loved.

But Jesus tells you that you are fully accepted, appreciated and loved in the most Supreme Way possible by God Himself - to the extent that God Sacrifices Himself and His Son (in One) for all humankind. Jesus taught us to still the storms ourselves rather than be afraid and necessitate He acts. The Same God told Moses the same thing when He was faced with the armies of Pharaoh from behind and the sea to the front "Why do you call to Me???" (See this post for more on this lesson)

Jesus taught us to pray the "kingdom come". He taught us that kingdom of God was within us. We need to change our minds in this. We need to realize that He was empowering us to change the world not as servants, slaves or weak people - pleading, and begging people, but being full of the Majesty and Love of God, full of His power and light. Simply - Your Kingdom Come! So it comes! Amen.

Secret #4 - Imagine what Heaven is like... then bring it to earth and extend it to your life!

"Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven."

Most people see the past and look at the present and imagine that that what was and is, will also be. They have lived normal lives, so normal lives they can expect along with all the blights of humanity, the curse of the earth.

Very few people sit, and imagine... imagine what it would feel like if Earth was like Heaven. Imagine what it would be like if your country and city or where you live, became modeled more and more after Heaven.

No more pollution, no more corruption, no more crime, no more poverty, no more disease, no more sickness, no more misery, no more murder, no more scarcity... wow, only abundance, life, joy, love and peace, overflowing to everyone and from everyone to everyone!

Voila... Jesus was telling us to imagine it so... which means to believe it so and command into being, this was a declaration, a command, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven... not please, and if you may, but Let it be So... and it is!

Just as God uttered - Light exist and so Light existed! So Jesus teaches us to create the Kingdom of God on Earth!

I will leave you with these thoughts. I think it's time you recreated your life according to Heaven's plans and not your past and the system of the world.

Have a wonderful 2019!

I think Christians have lost the art of meditation - far too many in the churches all over the world have been infected by a Western mindset steeped in the perceived supremacy of the intellect. But the Holy Scriptures of the Bible, all the prophets of old, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, John, the Disciples and Yeshua/Jesus Himself are all of the East! This does not mean there is no room for the intellect and rationale thought or that I am dismissing logic - far, far, far be it from to do that. The rational mindset of the West should be embraced in perfect harmony with the mysticism and spiritual orientation of the East - the two are married, two sides of the one coin and are therefore, one.
So meditation is not something you need to be afraid of. And now that I've discovered it and explored it from a very firm, Biblical, Christ-centered, Spirit-led rooting - I wonder how I even prayed before! It's such a powerful form of prayer that I have to share it. I have borrowed heavily from Eastern mysticism (but perhaps not so deeply) and have argued elsewhere that meditation is a very ancient and Biblical practice (click here to see that). To be clear, this is not a religious formula (a quick glance at what I've written and you'll realize I'm not fond of religion nor it's formulas). And to state the obvious, I utterly believe in the One God - Elohim/Yahowah/El-Shaddai who so loved the World that He offered up His Only Begotten Son (John 3:16). So what I have here are merely guidelines and frameworks. So without further ado, let's dive in!

1) Chanting the AUM

Om or Aum is an ancient Sanskrit syllable (I've written here about how it is in fact a representation of Jesus). I knew of Aum from my teenage years when I once visited Nepal. Shortly after I discovered Jesus and was led by the legalistic thinking circles that I was immediately exposed to, I was encouraged to discard anything that hinted of Eastern mysticism or spirituality (I foolishly complied). But Jesus Himself reintroduced me to the Aum a whopping 22 years later (you can see how I stumbled supernaturally on this here and here and here; yeah it was such a powerful vision that it took me at least three times to expound on it on this blog).

Aum is akin to the OM of Shalom and the AM of Amen - in the Bible we see that Jesus Himself is the Amen (Rev 3:14)! So do not be afraid to utter this syllable - a syllable that rolls from the tip of the mouth to the throat and vibrates from the belly upwards to the neck as you speak, a syllable that is said without the use of the tongue so that anyone can utter it.

I use the Aum to focus and be still. When I utter Aum, or even think it, it stills my thoughts - it does not shut off my mind but it quiets the endless mind chatter, in fact I could say that it resets the mind. Think of a pond of water that is so agitated... just chanting Aum (for me at least) quiets that wavy pond so it becomes perfectly calm and clear. I weave the Aum in and out of prayer, sometimes I'll also say Shalom and other times, Amen too.

I also believe Aum is related to the Hebrew word for "says" or "speak" - A-M-R pronounced Amer. Thought, just like words that one says, are essentially vibrations (we already know about brain waves and there's some technologies that have been developed where you can 'teach' a device what you think and these 'thought reading' machines essentially read those vibrations). "In the beginning was the Word"... essentially is "In the beginning was the Vibration"... and "And God said [AMER - like Aum], Let their be Light and there was Light." So chanting the Aum is chanting the Word and the very Vibration/Thought of calling forth what is not in existence into existence! (but this subject easily deserves a post on its own).

2) The Cross

The Cross is everything. Meditating on the Cross, on how Jesus laid down His life for us and the so-called Passion of Christ, on how God sent His Son in love to the world to die in such shame, pain and horror... well, simply put, there is no deed or discovery that is greater than JESUS CRUCIFIED. None what so ever!

Now this concept is foreign to those of the East. The Eastern Mystics have understood a lot, or perhaps I should say instead; Eastern Mystics have remembered many essential truths that were forgotten by the peoples of the Book. But the Cross - Jesus in the flesh, crucified and risen from the dead - as a physical, spiritual and eternal truth is forgotten by the Eastern Mystics. The Eastern Mystics know that God is love and love is God but they think so impersonally of Him (calling the Father, the Universe or by Names that rob God of His personal love to us). In failing to see the Word (which, I remind you, is Aum) becoming flesh and dying on the Cross, they fail to see the greatest conceivable manifestation of God's love possible.

The mystery of the Cross is so deep. It is not trivial in any way and meditating on it, you meditate on everything. Why did the Father send the Son to die on a cross? I don't really know why it had to be. And many will be so quick to say their well-tried answers borne from doctrine and intellectual faith. Yes, Jesus the Lamb was sacrificed to sanctify us and usher us into a beautiful, eternal New Covenant that can not be broken anymore by our human condition, but that said... why does it have to be that way? It is beyond me and yet I frequently center my mind on the Cross because what better thing is their to think on?

Are you in debt? Think on the Cross. Are you in love? Think on the Cross. Are you rich or poor? Think on the Cross. Are you in a storm of life? Think on the Cross. Are you in longing? Think on the Cross. Whatever your condition is now - think on the Cross! There is something so timeless about the Cross - everyday think on the Cross and somehow your life will align with great power to God's will and kingdom.

But the ultimate reason I think on the Cross is because the highest, most infinite and ever-lasting expression of God's total, unwavering, limitless love for me (and you too, but I say me, so you can say me too and make it as personal as possible!) is Jesus Crucified! Amen.

3) The I AM meditation

I have a written a lot recently about the Mystery of the I AM. God's Name. Yet it is God's Name in your mouth that great power is given, for our Father is not one that should keep us in the mud and mire for us to worship Him as slaves, but He is our Daddy Father, who loves us and raises us up as sons and daughters. Jesus taught us to pray "Hallowed be Your Name" and right afterwards "Your Kingdom Come" for a great reason.

When you consecrate the I AM being careful to not to take it in vain by saying negative things after the I AM, the KINGDOM COMES for the Kingdom, as Jesus said, is within us! When God told Moses what to tell the Israelites should they ask him about God's Name (they never did ask in the end) God said "tell them that the I AM sent me unto you", you see, that was a great secret that empowers people to break free from slavery and the tyranny of the world's spiritual darkness.

So first utter I AM and think on this. You are! Meditating on the I AM roots your presence. You become self-aware. I AM. It is very empowering. You know those people who blame external things beyond their control for their life's conditions? They are very powerless and poor in their minds, they are victims and constantly sighing out life. Are you one of those souls? Then take up the I AM and Resurrect His Life in you.

The second thing you can say and meditate on is the I AM that I AM. Think on what Paul said I am what I am by the Grace of God. Think on your unity with God, Jesus is the Vine you are the Branch. I AM One with the Father, One with the Son, One with the Spirit.

In pondering the I AM - one anchors their thoughts in the now, in the moment. How many of us are distracted nowadays, constantly wanting to fill our mind with endless, useless chatterings - what one does when they get on Facebook, scrolling through their home feed, they get a surge of dopamine in the first few minutes and then they just get stuck in a trance like state. We are becoming a generation that has been freed from so much hard labor and disease and have never lived longer since the old Biblical days but ironically now that we have more time we find ourselves so disconnected from the very awareness of our existence.

Uttering I AM a few times will do wonders in this regard.

4) Focus on your breathe and take control

This is very related to the preceding I AM meditation. Essentially, it is just being aware. Saying nothing, just focus on your breath as you inhale and exhale. You can close your eyes and focus on everything you are hearing, feeling (the way you sit, being aware of your body parts in what position they maybe in, or what sensations are pulsating that you have not yet noticed, etc), what you are smelling or tasting.. you can also do this anytime, standing or walking with eyes wide open. Just focus on your breath for a few minutes.

Focusing on the breathe makes you amazingly aware of everything going on around but also in you. I have found that doing this even in stressful situations, I begin to look at my feelings objectively - "Oh, I realize I am angry now" and suddenly that emotion no longer becomes the driver of my actions. Suddenly, I now am in a position to respond and initiate, to be proactive rather than allowing my emotions and outside happenings to dictate my reactions.

The Bible says we are Temples of the Holy Spirit of God. This is perhaps one of the most profound things Jesus Christ came to accomplish for us. For now, I just want to throw this out - the word Spirit in the Bible (both Hebrew and Greek) can just as correctly be translated as Breathe. Focusing on your Breathe is a way to focus on the Spirit of the Almighty in you. The Breathe in you is placed there by God Himself. How powerful is it then to just focus on this amazing part of our being.

As a final note, breathing is one of those bodily functions that is under both voluntary and involuntary control. It makes it even more interesting when you consider that fact.

For God has not given us a spirit [BREATHE] of timidity, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Tim 1:7

5) God is Timeless and so are you

One of the wackiest things I've written so far is right here. Ever since I was awakened by Jesus to see visions, dreams and other prophetic rabbit hole journey's, I've had very, very strange experiences. One of them is some form of time travel - of course - I am not saying that I was no longer aware of my body and presence in this plane of existence. It was something deeply powerful, imaginative and as many visions and dreams are, extremely symbolic and somehow infused with the unmistakable aroma and flavor of Jesus.

But we are speaking about meditation - a very purposeful act of prayer (that can lead to visions, etc) but that is apart from it and involves a very intentional, focused activity of the mind and spirit. Here are a few powerful ways you can utilize this timelessness concept - firstly, recognizing that the Eternal One is the One "who was, who is and who is to come", in other words, God is the Timeless One and you are a child of His, so that also transports you into His timeless realm.

Many people live in the past. And many others may not dwell on the past but they have hurts and wounds from things that have happened to them. (I would recommend this post and reading about unforgiveness). One exercise is to focus on a past event - relive it but instead of doing what you did, impulsively reacting to it or not acting with enough wisdom, choose to relive those moments in a way that you would do so today. This experience can act like a healing or soothing balm for those wounds of our past.

Another powerful little trip is to see yourself living out your day before it unfolds, early in the morning. It can bring focus and make sure you don't waste your time with fruitless activities. And yet another exercise is to travel further into the future, not to see what it becomes, but to imagine favorable outcomes.

As I said, this stuff is a little wacky but I am talking to those who want to do great things for their God's Kingdom, their family and in the world.

6) Chant a verse very slowly

Take a powerful verse of Scripture and just slowly repeat it. Focus on each word, each utterance. There is great and profound lessons to be draw from here. Yes, I purposely inserted this relatively commonplace practice because the next suggestion is easily as strange if not stranger than the previous one.

7) Travel in the Spirit

I have been places in the Spirit. These were strange, otherworldly places, possibly celestial or heavenly places. At first I was 'accompanied' by Seraphim like beings - so weird. At first I did not understand these travels but as I began to embrace them I accidentally discovered I could travel to places that I treasured deeply. I could travel not only in time but in a location. I'm not talking about something so out of this world it couldn't be Biblical... consider what Paul said to the Corinthian church:

When you are gathered in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of the Lord Jesus... 2 Cor 5:4

There was a serious situation in the Corinthian church that Paul spoke of but I won't go into here and this verse is immediately followed by another very controversial statement that I also won't address. But the truth of this particular verse above is flabbergasting and has confounded 'Western' minded Christians for centuries. What in the world is Paul talking about? This was not nonsensical, sentimental musings, Paul didn't write like that - it was real... when these believers gathered, he says he was literally there along with the power of the Lord Jesus. It was his intention that bought him there. I've never heard someone preaching about this, and only managed to find some vague mentions online among one or two Christians.

So rather than explain things away, I'd like to simply suggest you explore and experiment. While meditating I often imagine myself with the people that I am praying for. They could be in the room next door, or just a 20 minute drive away or on other continents - it does not matter. In the spirit, I lay hands on them, bless them, pray or just simply linger there, worshiping the Lord and enveloping the environment with His love.

Sometimes I'll just 'fly' to places I love, and just sit there and pray and watch what goes on. New Agers will call this remote viewing... they may also call it astral projection. They could very well be those things but it makes little difference to me. Afterall, Jesus often expounded on spiritual principles that could be applied by anybody. Most Christians would outright reject anything of this sort because they think it's kind of like what Saul did when he summoned the prophet Samuel from the dead, using the services of a diviner.

But as the verse above explains (and by the way, I did not even mention Philip's little trips in Acts) there is a Biblical precedent for this. And besides, so what if people Christians have maligned for so long have discovered cool spiritual principles? So what? How bigoted it is to think that Jesus keeps those who do not yet know Him from truth wherever it may be found! Also, how is it that these judgmental Christians have taken so presumptuously the position of judge of the world, they now dictate who belongs to Jesus and who doesn't, who is saved and who is isn't, and all this nonesense? The last I checked nobody owns God!

So let them do what they do and who knows, what if they worship God in Spirit and Truth, embrace His mercy from the Sacrifice of His Son on the Cross, but have not yet realized they do? Whose to say that is not possible? I say this all to make you fearless and more open minded. God is always in the business of destroying our intellectual castles of sand and replacing them with temples of wonderfully carved natural and precious stones. Jesus Himself, is the precious CornerStone and we are the Stones of that Temple as well!

I hope this post gives you ideas and that you find a great sense of Peace and blessing through these 'new' ways of prayer.

Here's to your happy experience in meditation, well-ground and rooted firmly in the Faith of the Amen, Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh, of the line of David, the I AM SALVATION Himself and who died and rose again after three days. Amen.
It's not complicated. It's not hidden. It's only obscure so far as we choose not to look. But if you look, you will see and find. If you do not look you will not find. You're reading this post because you pray and you're praying because you want and those desires, you're looking forward so desperately to see them come to be. So let's get straight to the point! These are three keys to prayer, the three secrets if you will, or truths, to praying super-effectively and super-powerfully.

1) Having Faith Means you SEE your Answered Prayer - Seeing the Unseen and Imagination are One!

Have faith of God; for verily I say to you, that whoever may say to this mount, Be taken up, and be cast into the sea, and may not doubt in his heart, but may believe that the things that he saith do come to pass, it shall be to him whatever he may say. Because of this I say to you, all whatever โ praying โ ye do ask, believe that ye receive, and it shall be to you. (Mk 11:22-24)

Get this straight - the FIRST key to answered prayer is to ACT and FEEL like you already have it even though it is not manifest (Heb 11:1). We need to do some redefinitions here because it is crucial. When Jesus said "Have Faith" and "believe" He was speaking of SEEING, IMAGINING, FEELING. That's what faith and belief are... the Church has taught her children for such a long time that that faith and believing are intellectually agreeing with doctrines. If you want to get anywhere in the Kingdom, doctrines will shackle you and keep you in shallow spiritual waters all your life. Sorry to break it to you, but it's the truth. Doctrines make us comfortable with ourselves and help to label other people - yeah those goes are in, those guys are not. This is not the sword of division that Jesus came to bring, at the contrary this is the very sword of the Pharisees - the only group of people to which Jesus verbally exposed outright hostility.

Now this is a transforming, utterly transforming truth. When you "praying - believe that you receive" it means you FEEL AS IF IT'S TRUTH. Can you feel it? Can you literally place yourself there and just let your imagination wander within it's realization?

You can, right? It feels good, right?

Let's say you want a car. Imagine it's make and model and color and it's smell and you're driving here and there and locking the car and you feel good, right?

But what about VANITY and MATERIALISM... this is a secret within a secret... as you pray, even if you pray out of misplaced desires (for vain things, your ego, etc) and as you pray you feel like you have them already... well, you feel good? right? Right! And then it dawns on you: you don't need STUFF to make you happy! You already are Happy and Content and Living in that feeling without that thing. I mean, you thought that you'd be happy when you have such and such, but by praying for these things and believing (or feeling, seeing) that you have received it, suddenly you realize the feeling is what you always wanted and you don't need anything to have it!!!

This is just so amazing, what a secret, I'm super excited: to believe that you receive what you pray, whatever it maybe, as you are feeling it's manifestation, seeing the unseen, imagining it is true and already there, something magical happens. It makes the GOOD DESIRES come to pass and the lesser desires are transformed into better desires that also come to pass! Glory to God!

Meditate on this and take literally EVERYTHING to God in prayer, don't be shy, bring to Him your basest (most vain and materialistic) desires, bring to Him your Holiest of Holy Desires, no matter, bring them all! The bad desires will be transformed to good desires and all your good desires will come to pass when you pray like this!

2) Forgive quickly, frequently and keep away from Condemnation and Guilt, neither receiving it nor giving it.

There's a reason Jesus taught about forgiving every time He taught us to pray. Consider the Lord's prayer and consider the continuation of Mark 11:22-24 here:

And whenever ye may stand praying, forgive, if ye have anything against any one, that your Father also who is in the heavens may forgive you your trespasses; and, if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your trespasses.โ (Mk 11:25,26)

This is something very, very important. It is something that not only will block your prayers, it will kill it's lovers from the inside - literally and spiritually. Yes, some people just can't let go of their forgiveness, they love holding a grudge. Others can't embrace Grace, because they're too arrogant and prideful to give up their Guilt and as a result, the Guilty almost always give more Guilt to others as they condemn them.

Clear your heart of unforgiveness, as many times as necessary, as many times as you feel it. Embrace the True Grace of God that declares you and your neighbor forever forgiven and let go of condemning yourself and condemning others. Do not even entertain these thoughts again and when you do, as we surely will do, let it be so fleeting that as soon as you smell their scent you cast them out.

Consider these words:

Beloved, if our heart may not condemn us, we have boldness toward God, and whatever we may ask, we receive from Him, because His commands we keep, and the things pleasing before Him we do. (1 John 3:21,22)

...reasonings bringing down, and every high thing lifted up against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of the Christ... (2 Cor 10:5)

So take care to guard your hearts and minds. Forgive yourself, forgive others - for God has forgiven you and them. If you struggle with unforgiveness, I would look to Paul (click here) who had every reason to hold on to guild as murder of Christians but somehow received and understood the Grace of God beyond any of his contemperaries.

3) Pray in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus - It is the Name meaning "I AM SALVATION"

And now friends this is one of those Rabbit Hole moments when I get all mystical.

You pray in the Name of Jesus all the time. You say your amen's and bless His Name. Now what is His Name?

Jesus told us to pray in His Name:

I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it. (John 14:13,14)

Wow! There's that whatever you ask again. I love it! But the NAME... I find God's Name is strange. I AM THAT I AM. God is existence and reality and above all personal (He is the I AM not the it is). This is God's Name and this is the Name He gave Moses.

Let me tell you, this is a great, great, great secret. When Jacob fought with the Angel of Yahowa (it was God who was the 'angel' whom I believe to be Yeshua or Jesus) Jacob demanded He tell him His Name. God declined to give it to him. Later, Moses asked about His Name too and God told him HIS Name - I AM THAT I AM or I AM. To be precise, Moses asked the Lord about what he should tell the Israelites should they ask Moses for HIS Name... the Israelites, however, NEVER did ask Moses for God's Name! And to do this day, their ancestors, the Jewish Nation who are of the tribe of Judah and still carry the name of Israel do not know His Name and dare not even read it.

And yet... this was God's Name for Generations to Come! So here comes Jesus and what does Jesus tell the Father?

I did manifest Thy name to the men whom Thou hast given to me out of the world; Thine they were, and to me Thou hast given them, and Thy word they have kept. (John 17:6)

Wow! Jesus is the One who Reveals the NAME OF GOD TO ALL MANKIND.

Ok so then... Here's the thing, what does it really mean to pray in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus? I pray literally in His Name... "In Jesus' Name, Amen" we always pray like this. But I think we are missing something else in all of this, buried in the routine of this tradition.

And God saith unto Moses, 'I AM THAT WHICH I AM;' He saith also, 'Thus dost thou say to the sons of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.' (Exo 3:14)

Why did Moses have to say I AM sent me to you? Shouldn't it have been the He is sent me to you?

I believe there is a great and very empowering truth in the I AM. When you appropriate the I AM you bring out the power of God already within, from your union with God that is in Christ - He is the Vine, you are the Branch and where does the vine really end and the branch begin? You are One with God. And when you appropriate through this Unity and the Blood of Christ, the I AM it empowers you greatly.

You can be like Paul, who said I am what I am by the Grace of God and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and I have been crucified with Christ. These are all statements emanating from the I AM. There are many more you can say, but just meditating on the I AM, and attaching the Word of God and His promises and your Unity in Christ, to that I AM is powerful. As you mediate and pray, declaring or silently uttering or singing such things is awesome:

I AM above and not below.

I AM God's beloved son/daughter.

I AM capable of doing all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I AM One with the Father, One with the Son and One with the Spirit.

You see, if you are asking and praying to God because you think that the answer is there in Heaven then please consider this; Jesus asked us to pray, the very first was to Consecrate God's Name and the very second thing, was to Ask for His Kingdom. We have gone over the Name and now is the Kingdom, the Kingdom is the manifestation of God's Realm and Reign on Earth, His Love, Power and Glory, on Earth through you.

So let me close with this. Look at what Jesus said of the Kingdom:

And having been questioned by the Pharisees, when the reign of God doth come, he answered them, and said, โThe reign of God doth not come with observation; nor shall they say, Lo, here; or lo, there; for lo, the reign of God is within you.โ (Lk 17:20,21)

The answer to your prayers is within YOU, the Kingdom, the Reign is in you. This is why you pray in the Name of the I AM SALVATION, because that Salvation is now borne with you, this is why you are Born of the Spirit and born again, it is what that means. His very Kingdom is within you.

God's Word Himself is within you (Deut 30:14) and so is His Kingdom and His Salvation (see James 1:21). It is all of Jesus and Jesus is all and He is also within you, He is the Vine, you are the Branch. Can you accept this?

So consider when Moses was faced with the biggest obstacle ever, the entire Egyptian Army behind him and the Red Sea before him, He cried out to God for salvation. And what did God say?

The LORD said to Moses, โWhy are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to go forward. And as for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. (Ex. 14:15,16)

You see we expect miracles from God when God is expecting miracles from us!

The Word of Salvation is within you. The Power of Salvation is in your hand. The Kingdom of God is in you. You are One with the Father, One with the Son and One with the Spirit - He is the Vine, you are the Branch.

It is time to pray in such a powerful way and to do away with our limited mentality. It is time to discover your inheritance. God bless you all.

Christians hold to a sense of moral and intellectual superiority - of course, they are far, far from being alone. This pride infects all mankind, in fact, it's human nature to think our ways, our thoughts, our cultures, are always best.

But a great an amazing thing happens when you dress your mind with humility instead of arrogance - suddenly, the entire universe begins to make sense in ways you could've only imagined.

I am firmly a Christian which means I believe that Jesus came physically, was crucified, and resurrected, just as is detailed in the Gospels. But ever since my spiritual journey was awakened when I was only a lad of 17, I have noticed Christians like to put God in a box, they like to delineate what is right and wrong, true and false, acceptable and unacceptable, what is orthodox and what is heretic. They are constantly constraining and miniaturizing the Infinite, Boundless ONE - the I AM.

Yet the Truth is that the Sons and Daughters of Most High (and do not constrict the meaning of who is a son or daughter of God through religious creeds) - when these noble ones are Free they always abound in Truth, in Light, in Joy, in Purity, in Holiness, in Righteousness, in Power, in Life and in so much more. They no longer reflect dimly shadows of a forgotten past, slumbering within them; no they are awakened and now Shine Brightly the Light of God in them.

The Church on the other hand has had a tiresome history of suppressing it's children, molding them in pre-set figurines useful only for dust-collecting displays. You can never go far in many (not all) churches because they always tell you how far to go. Some are more relaxed than others, but that is only because they stretch their boundaries farther when they should do away with all artificial limitations - such is the state of things and if you are a Truth and God Seeker, you quickly reach those barriers and find yourself either silently submitting or challenging the older ways. Only the Brave and Courageous desire to go further and they do so with Love and Humility, staying True always to the Lord and Savior Jesus who set us on the journey in the first place.

Here is an amazing, amazing thing I discovered or rather that God revealed to me, something no one has told me, but a mystery rather that could have been known for centuries and centuries by the ancients of Asia but has been buried by the successive efforts of multiple religions (You can read about how this happened to me here and here and here).

It is the mystery of the AUM (Om).

It is a mystery that brings together the most enormous gathering of people in the world - ever. Something that brings the Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews and Christians together. The rest of the people's are not excluded - in fact, I am sure further mysteries are hidden there that will bring the truth to light.

Aum is said to be the primary syllable of existence itself. It consists of a sound that is said to encompass all the universe, the Creator and everything beyond everything. It is the cosmic and msytical syllable representing the Divine Trinity - the awareness of the Triune Nature of God (not three gods, but rather that Father, Son and Spirit are ONE). In Hinduism this concept has transformed into what they call the Trimurti; it's Buddhist counterpart is Trikaya. The fact that both originate with the linguistically familiar syllable of three "Tri" shows the Indo-European roots of the European and Asian languages (in the Bible, it is thought that one of Noah's sons, Japheth gave rise to these peoples).

Aum is the Beginning and End. Aum is the Creator. The ONE, the All in All, the Immutable, Infinite and Immeasurable One.

AUM IS THE WORD.

How can I make such a statement? Any Christian who knows a little of their Bible will understand who the Word is that I speak of.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (Taken from John 1)

The AUM is the WORD of God. The Bible says that Jesus is the Word who manifested in our reality.

Now the Bible also says that while the I AM that I AM is the Name of God for Generations and Time Immemorial, the Name of Yeshua or Jesus - literally meaning YHWH (I AM) IS SALVATION - is The Name Above Every Name.

So we know now that Aum is the Word who is Jesus - the Name Above every Name.

Will you let me show how this is connected to Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism and Christianity?

On the Indian sub-continent, arguably the most popular number is the 786.

It is said - not without controversy - that the number 786 is represented by Aum. Aum is The Word, remember. The cosmic syllable representing the entirety of Existence and the Eternally and Timelessly Existing One, the Creator.

It is said that the number 786 - also not without controversy but undeniable - represents the Arabic Abjad's numbering of the first verse of every chapter in the Qu'ran. The first verse speaks of the Name of God - that's really important, in fact the first word of the Qu'ran is B'ism - meaning "In the Name". And it goes on to say what nature is God; He is "The Most Merciful and The Most Compassionate" (not unlike John's assertion that God is Love).

What has not been said by anyone as far I know - and this is astounding - is the Hebrew Gematria for the number 786. Their are only 50 Biblical words that match this number. Sometimes a word has two variants of the same word with the same number. But with 786 the most common word has 6 of those 50 words mean Salvation and Save. So 786 has 6 variants of this Word, this Root Word for Salvation. The other word of 786 that stands out is Shmut - meaning NAMES.

So 786 refers to the NAMES of SALVATION, the WORD OF GOD, in all the major religions of ASIA. And who is the Name Above all Names - Jesus or Yeshua. The I AM SALVATION that is the Name, the Word, the Aum, the 786. All in All.

Where does that leave us? What does it mean for Christians?

It means well-meaning Christians everywhere need to re-evaluate who they are and what they say to so-called non-Christians. It means that we need to stop putting invisible walls between us and those who are not like us. (To be sure, every body puts these walls, like I said before, but my audience are primarily Christians so I speak to them pointedly, and as a Christian myself).

Jesus said blessed are the Peacemakers - i.e. those that connect people to people, who destroy barriers, who strive to be inclusive not exclusive, who say "Welcome!", who are not afraid to call those who appear as Strangers as Brothers and Sisters, as Children of the Father. After-all, when Jesus taught the people to pray "Our Heavenly Father", He made no distinction, He didn't make sure they were "Christians" ! And yes He spoke of division, but if you notice He spoke about the members of our house, perhaps even more deeply, coming to follow Jesus means we come into conflict with the parts of our beings that enslaved to the world's systems and mentalities.

He also spoke about how people will come from all over to sit at His Table in the Kingdom. Christians have become so rigid that they are now deciding who can sit at the Table in the Kingdom - they will be very quick to qualify such souls, telling them what to believe or what doctrines to accept (as if that is faith!). But "God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called"!

This is indeed the proof of God's Open Invitation to the Nations of Asia and the World Beyond - the 786.

You can consider this a template to loosely follow as you are led by the Spirit in you.

1. Start at the Cross:

The Cross is Everything and is itself so Deep; it is the starting point of your journey to identify your I AMness. I would really encourage you to ponder the Cross, ponder Jesus the Son of God, crucified for our sins (consciousness of KOGE*) and resurrected for righteousness (consciousnesses of God's love for us and our unity with God). The Cross is much deeper than a historical fact of the NT, or a Sunday School teaching - it is timeless in itself and it's ramifications are stupendous (click here to read more about it, I really encourage you to do so for this one!)

Keep in mind that there are many, many teachings that resemble somethings I have said here and I haven't one where they don't neglect the Cross or it's factual occurrence - namely, that the Word manifested in Flesh and Died for Us.

So how is this part of the exercise? Well, it is much more than just that. Let the image of the Cross be seared in your mind, see Him in your mind's eye, Crucified, and do so often and frequently, when you meditate and when you don't. I love this song by Kutless... you'll understand when you hear it.

2. Breathe. Meditate on the I AM - say the I AM.

Start by getting yourself in a meditative position (sitting, standing, stably, quietly; click here to see Abraham and Isaac were masters of meditation). And just breathe, be conscious of your breathing, be mindful of how you feel, your body, your surroundings (smells, sounds, etc, but best to close to your eyes or not if you wish). By the way, the word Spirit in the OT and NT is the same word for breathe and wind - makes for an interesting read when you think that. By doing this you are actually beginning to grasp an awareness of yourself, your very being.

Now contemplate your beingness by saying and more importantly quietly thinking - I AM. Take a moment when you can, repeat it in your mind a dozen times or so, just bask in this. You will find that you are happy and peaceful because that is the original state of our consciousness of life. As you do this, you meditate on your being. Descartes said "I think therefore I am." Just think on your beingness for a moment.

As you begin to say I AM, let it resonate in your mind, in your life. You are not a helpless, leaf caught by the winds, thrown into violent waters, helpless to move, helpless to stand, helpless to make a difference. "I AM"... it shakes the world like thunder. Now you realize, in this strong stillness, and mighty peace, YOU ARE and YOU CAN initiate, create, step out of the treacherous waters of REACTION and stand on the Mountain of Pro-Action and Creation. You can Create and steer your path as you wish, as you want, as you desire!

And take courage - for the Desires of the Righteous is Only Good (Prov 11:23) when it is fulfilled it is a Tree of Life (Prov 13:12) and sweet to the soul (Prov 13:19), they are Pure and they yours to feel as if you have them, they are yours to embrace and not deny for it is God manifesting Himself through you, manifesting HIS KINGDOM in you (remember, how the Lord taught us to pray).

Look what Paul says and meditate and thoughtfully declare it in your minds (and if you want out loud; keep in mind many preacher teach about saying affirmations but they speak little if anything of the I AM and consciousness of the I AM, of being. So that is just a single and very big difference from 'word of faith' teachings).

"I AM WHAT I AM by the GRACE OF GOD."

"I AM CAPABLE OF DOING ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME."

But here is real, boundless power:

As He is, so I Am.

I am one with my Father, one with My brother (Jesus), one with the Spirit.

I am that I am that I am what I am by the Grace of God (attaching your I AMness to the Grace of God).

Remember, you are meditating on these TRUTHS from the position of the I AM in you. You are meditating on the I AM and then you are growing the revelation of the I AM in you - the awareness of being and existing - and now expanding the I AM by attaching to it Deeper Truths that bring you into a position of strength and manifestation of His Kingdom.

You can also attach your needs to the I AM:

I AM very happy I AM.

I AM very wise I AM.

I AM very healthy I AM.

You can also extend the boundaries of the I AM to your family:

As He is, so ARE WE.

WE ARE highly favored, deeply loved and greatly blessed WE ARE.

WE ARE a very happy family, full of love, life and light WE ARE.

Go ahead, try it out, and let the Holy Spirit (Breath) of God guide you. It's a wonderful and empowering experience!

There are many mysteries in the Bible. And there are so many mysteries yet that God has scattered among humankind, on earth and in the universe. So if I am going to qualify what I share with you as the "ultimate secret" how far shall we fall short from all that God is and has done. I say this because I am so tempted to say it is the ultimate secret just because this stuff is VERY powerful and life-changing.

One of these mysteries or secrets (hidden in plain sight in the verses of the Holy Scriptures) is the mystery of the Name of God. His Name - the Name that is His for all time, for all ages, for all generations (Ex 3:15) is - I AM THAT I AM - Ahyeh Asher Ahyeh (in Hebrew). In fact the great secret is that the I AM THAT I AM is with you always (Ex 3:12) and that the I AM sent Moses to deliver the Israelites from slavery. To read more about this peculiar way of putting it, read on here.

Now here's the thing - I AM - is a powerful, powerful statement. But it is not just a statement. It is Being Itself, Consciousness, Power, Reality - it is the ALL in ALL, Infinity. The Words I AM resounds in all Creation because it is above and over Creation, timeless and endless.

What really happened on that fateful day in the Garden of Eden, when the first humans ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? What was the first thing Adam and Eve did?

They HID from God - the I AM (God's Name, YHWH or Yahowah, is sort of like HE IS or I AM in the third person). In their minds - consciousness - they had to hide from God. In other words, the I AM was banished from their consciousness. And ever since that moment the I AM sleeps in all His children on the Earth. The entire race of humankind has become dead to the I AM in them. They think about "I" all the time in selfish ways exposing their utter lack, hunger, and emptiness without the I AM. They crave, they desire, they long; all of the hustle and bustle of mankind is a futile REACTION to the fallen world.

Rich, poor, north, south, black, white, east, west, up, down - every son of Adam and daughter of Eve are blind to the I AM in them and do not overcome the torrential flood waters of Noah. They need the Ark and they do not know where it is. So they are tossed and turned by the stream of thoughts in their mind - one thought leads to another, and yet another. The storms of life and hardships of day to day life take everyone captive to a locked way of thinking.

Take a moment to pause and understand your thoughts - when was the last time your mind was totally calm and still? Each thought in your mind comes from the one preceding it and so on it goes. It is an endless river, but you as a Man and Woman, need not drown in this endless living death.

The world is like the River of Egypt - the Nile; linear, one thing leads to another. But the I AM is like a still, massive, mighty ocean, expanding into every conceivable corner of everything.

It is the Truth - it can not be grasped, or held in the hands, or examined and studied like a book; it is insurmountable and unfathomable; it can only be experienced when you jump in!

The I AM exists and it exists apart from all existence (our thoughts need liberation from this!) and because it is like so, it is therefore the First and the Last, the Amen, the Faithful One, the Creator.

So there was Moses being told to go the Israelites and deliver them from this brainwashing slavery. And what does God tell Moses to say to his kinfolk...

"I AM sent-me to-you." In Hebrew it reads "Ahyeh shalkhani alaykum".

You see, this is the Liberation from Slavery - to be, to be I AM. To take upon your own lips, the Name of the I AM. I am not saying you are the Creator - but I am saying that you and the Creator are together, are One - quoting the OT, Jesus pointed out that the Scriptures declare we are gods, and He came to fully expound on this; He is the VINE and we the Branches... as I have said elsewhere, where does the Branch end and the Vine begin? You are a temple of the Holy Spirit, a Tabernacle of God, in whom GOD ALMIGHTY dwells and rests and finds delight.

Many of us know this theologically, theoretically, dogmatically and doctrinally. But we don't LIVE and EXPERIENCE the VERY ESSENCE of our Nature - our I AMness. Remember how God created humankind - literally, God created us in HIS LIFE-BLOOD usually translated in English as 'likeness' but you can read more about that here.

When you awaken the I AM in you, you shall be free indeed. Jesus spoke about the need for the seed to die to give fruit. Dying to yourself is dying to your consciousness of separation from God, your Father, the I AM! It came at no feeble price from the I AM Himself. The I AM became flesh and dwelt among us, and as the Lamb, as the God of the Universe - died on the Cross - the mystery of mysteries, but the Most Convincing Undeniable Proof of God's Divine Love for All Humankind!

You, like Jesus, are God's beloved Son and Daughter in Whom HE is well-pleased. The I AM - it is a state of being not doing, having, or accomplishing, but being. So root your identity in the I AM. All things (Life, Abundance, Strength, Wisdom, etc) flow from this! The Acorn and the Mighty Oak Tree - they are one in Eternity - Timelessness! - pray and believe you have received is past, continuous (see Mk 11:23) - praying ye receive.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]. 1 John 5:14-15

So get out of your body/flesh to do what you must according to who you are. Dare to draw even from your future self who is the fulfilled "as He is so are are we" man/woman (1 Jn 4:17).

Quit taking the Name of the Lord in vain. You know we do this so frequently... examples: I am tired. I hate my job. Why does this happen to me. I am poor. I have nothing. I am nothing. I can't. I am lazy. I am sleepy. I am hungry. I am needy.

Take up the Name of the Lord as the I AM in you - THE I AM IS YOUR SAVIOR - the I AM IS YOUR SALVATION (HIS NAME IS JESUS - He Lived, Died on the Cross and Rose Again - oh what love is this!)

Uncovering the lost art of Biblical Meditation

I love meditation! Unfortunately however, in the west - and in particular western churches - Meditation as a science, as a method, even as prayer has been completely stripped of its power and now means a simple intellectual exercise that is essentially 'thinking about' something. Our kinsfolk in the East would have a thing or two to say about that! They seem to have developed meditation for millennia. For them, it's not about the chanting or sitting in symmetrically marvelous ways - it's about stillness, union with God, self-awareness, tapping into the stillness ether of the Universe. As I look at how the ancient Eastern folk developed meditation, I see in it a grasp of the Lord, a hunger and thirst for the Eternal One. What I truly see is a realization that we are created in the image of God.

Let's get back to the Bible now and let me start that by throwing out a wild suggestion - I think Abraham was a master of meditation. I think he did it very regularly. He displayed uncharacteristic cool-headedness. And look at the things God said to Abraham and look how he reacted. It never shows him going crazy or being considered crazy. God appears and tells him all this stuff and it's like he just must his friend at the supermarket and they discussed the weather. There was no religious mumbo jumbo, just a still sense of awe and humble obedience. Abraham was a man of prayer, of meditation, not just rambling words about requests, but utter contemplation and connection.

Now the only instance where the word 'meditation' is used in the OT is when it describes Isaac, Abraham's heir and son.

He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. (Gen 24:63)

The word in Hebrew is Suwakh or Sukh. In the predecessor scripts of Hebrew (proto-Sinaitic and later, ancient Hebrew/Phoenician scripts) we see a pictograph representing speaking/singing (like they chant), rooted and nailed to something (as they sit) and then a wall, divided in half (a picture of sitting symmetrically).

First line is proto-Sinaitic, second ancient Hebrew/Phoenician and the third is late and modern Hebrew.
(Btw, it reads from right to left)

In other words, in the ancient Hebrew script the word Suwakh is literally a picture of chanting while seated in perfect symmetry - just as the picture of meditation you see today if you google it.

What makes all this even more fascinating is that in Hindi, Sukh means, happiness. :)

But let me continue on with Isaac - the meditating one as I've called him. Isaac was a very powerful, but quiet fellow and I've written about how Meditation was his secret to success here and in a few other places (click here and here). But one thing I've haven't realized till just yesterday, is that here is the Bible's first mention and closest thing to Eastern style meditation; and right after it is mention, here comes the desire of Isaac... the camels! Camels??? No, not the camels... but rather the princess who was riding the camels, Rebekah; and apparently it was love at first sight too. (Yes, Genesis 24:63+ go read it, it's beautiful).

So let me boldly venture from this story; prayerful meditation brings about the desire of our hearts.

Greedy people may salivate at this but don't let that hinder you from this amazing spiritual heritage you have in the Scriptures, from your Heavenly Father Himself - remember, the sun rises on the 'good and evil' and it rains on both as well.

Many have alluded to the similarities of ancient Hindi religion (the Brahmins) and Abraham (this link might be interesting). And I wonder at how Abraham sent away the sons of Keturah, his second wife after Sarah died to the east. Keturah means incense and she is said (in the Talmud) to be a descendant of Japheth (third son of Noah and ancestor of the Indo-Europeans, Asians).

Here's this mysterious connection in the Bible: Keturah's sons, were given gifts by Abraham and sent to the East! In Hebrew, the land he sent the lads to was to "Kedem al eretz-Kedem" - kedem means east, eretz means land. Literally, not just the east, but east of the east, to the east!

What's amazing is the word for gifts in Hebrew - mattanah - appears here for the first time (and that's always important)! Abraham gave gifts to his sons borne of Keturah and sent them in the direction of India and Tibet and the Far East - I am sure that these gifts were spiritual too and included the knowledge of God and his ways, meditation and Abraham's own personal journey with God.

So are you ready to learn more about Spirit-led, Biblical, Christ-Centered Meditation as it's really supposed to be?
The other day, I saw a vision while praying. It was strange and spoke to me at many levels. It was simply an acorn superimposed unto an oak tree. God was showing me that the mighty oak starts as but a single acorn. He showed me that my thoughts were like acorns and was beckoning me to see these acorns as fully grown trees.

The vision has matured like wine with time. When I revisit it I also see something else... the picture of the acorn and tree go both back and forward into time. The acorn is the fruit of a tree itself who is the result of another acorn and likewise the original acorn in the picture extends forward into one tree that gives rise to more acorns which give rise to trees as well. Like two mirrors reflecting each other.

Here is a deep mystery displayed fully in the New Testament (when it is not by obscured rigid theological curtains). This mystery speaks of the Cross - a Tree upon which the Son of God hung and died. That Tree extends into eternity and both strands of time. Bear with me a second. When you see those acorns and trees, you see generations and time, you see you are One, we are One. Many mystics speak of Unity with the Creator - but they miss the Cross at the center of it all. The deepest mystery, perhaps in the Universe, is the Love of God for us that strove to bring about the Unity of God within us displayed so unfathomably when Jesus was Crucified on the Cross!

Above everything, meditate on the Cross, Jesus our Savior crucified for you and I.

So what does this have to do with weird and strange teachings? Now look at that Oak. Notice it's many leaves rustling in the wind, each connected to a branch, and yet another and yet another until they reach the trunk. The Trunk itself is connected to roots, myriads of roots. Understand, the path between the tip of a root to the tip of a leaf. That Tree holds the answer to how we should deal with strange fire - the Leaves adorn the Tree but the Tree is known by it's fruit. Check this out:

My Kingdom is like a Tree. Everyone goes on a path, a lonely path that is unlike his neighbor's, path. Every leaf of that tree is unique in the path it takes. But they are all One! They are all connected to the Trunk and the Roots; and the Leaf is not an organism by itself - the entire Tree is One and no Leaf is apart from the One.

Each Leaf is in a unique position. No two leaves are alike and no two leaves share the same path. That is why I liken My Kingdom to a Tree - and that is our 'Christianity'. The world tries to control Christianity, like a gardener, but the Kingdom does not need a gardener in that sense. Consider the Fir and Cedar and Palm, they grow in perfect order. But the Olive and Pine grow in disorder, but it is an ordered disorder.

Understand that the Kingdom of God is like a Tree. But there are many who want to see only one Leaf and think that the one Leaf is the Leaf. But no tree try can survive on the sustenance of only one leaf!

Likewise, there is much to learn in the child of God. For the child of God on whom My Spirit rests, sees the other Leaves and rather than trying to cut them away, considers and ponders.

But if you want to know the Mystery of the Tree... Remember Me, Crucified on the Tree!

There is a great, great mystery in the Name of God.

It starts with Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham. On his away to his uncle's city, many days journey from his own family's dwelling, having fled because he feared that his brother Esau would kill him, Jacob encounters the Angel of YHWH. It is a very peculiar encounter. (The first time the Angel of YHWH appears in the Bible, it was to Hagar, also fleeing from the wrath of her mistress, Sarah - you can read about that here).

But anyways, Jacob fights with him and demands a blessing. But he also asks for one more thing... to know the Angel of YWHW's name... He gets the reply followed by a blessing "Why is it that you ask about My name?" And He blessed him there." (Gen 32:27... the whole passage is super-mystical).

So I want you to fast forward to Moses in the desert being called by God. Here, God will finally answers Jacob's question, 4 centuries and many generations later!

"And Moses saith unto God, `Lo, I am coming unto the sons of Israel, and have said to them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and they have said to me, What [is] His name? what do I say unto them?' And God saith unto Moses, `I AM THAT WHICH I AM;' He saith also, `Thus dost thou say to the sons of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.' And God saith again unto Moses, `Thus dost thou say unto the sons of Israel, YHWH, God of your fathers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you; this [is] My name -- to the age, and this My memorial, to generation -- generation." Ex 3:13-15 (YLT)

Ehyeh asher Ehyeh - this is the Name that God gives Himself in Hebrew, also just Ehyeh...

It's generally understood that YHWH (Yehwa or Yahowa) is a third person or formal Name of God, but said in the first person, it is I AM THAT I AM or just I AM.

God told Moses the same thing twice, to tell the Israelites about His Name - firstly, using the personal first person Name 'EHYEH' and the second time, His formal, third person Name, 'YHWH'.

Moses doesn't go and say "'HE IS' sent me to you...' Instead He says "'I AM' has sent me to you!" Grammatically, I would have said the one that "He is" sent me... but Moses in effect pronounced the first person Name of God, literally in the first person. Is this making your mind spin?

Here is something else to ponder... God gives you a choice on how to approach Him, whether to see Him as Far and Distant, or Near and Close! To see Him so close that you call out to Him - EHYEH! I AM! or to stay distant - YHWH - the One who is. Many choose to add fancy appellations to God in their prayers... but so few cry out like a child with utmost trust - DADDY!

Remember Jesus' Words... "I and My Father are One." That's how close your Heavenly Father is to you now.

You should try this, right now... just relax and say "I AM". Say it again. Meditate on it.

The Greatest Name the Bible says, is the Name of Yeshua. The Name which translated literally means "YHWH is Salvation". Here is Moses, however, telling the ancient Israelites - at that time an entire nation enslaved by the world's greatest empire - that the I AM has come to deliver them.

Do you see how empowering God is? He doesn't make SALVATION - which means Healing, Wellness, Peace, Health and Abundance all in one - something that is far away and apart from you. He makes it so much in you that it becomes you.

I really want you to understand this...

Here was a nation of slaves with a 400 year old history of slaves... and they are being told that the I AM has come to deliver them! This is so, so powerful. The Answer you've been waiting for, the Deliverance, the Salvation, the Desires of your Righteous Spirit... they come through the Revelation of I AM in you!

If you still don't understand, consider how Jesus spoke about the Vine and the Branches. He is the Vine... yes? And you are the Branches... right? But where does the Vine end and the Branch begin?

The Kingdom of God isn't here or there; it's within you.

The I AM isn't set apart from you - the curtain or Veil, the Body of Christ, has been torn in two, no longer is the Presence of the I AM hidden and isolated. Now you are a Temple of the Divine I AM, the EHYEH ASHER EHYEH... within you is the I AM that I AM.

As you are a Branch of the Vine, so you are a literal Extension of the Divine! We have been given the Glory of Christ!

THE SECRET OF THE DIVINE NAME OF GOD IS SO EMPOWERING. The Divine Name is I AM and the Name above all Names is that the I AM is Salvation! Where is your Salvation? In the I AM!

So how do you take the Name of God in Vain? By adding all sorts of negative and darkness to the I AM...

I am poor.... I am sick and tired... I am hurt... I am defeated... I am a failure... I am ugly... I am nothing...

God has set before you Life and Death (see Deut 30). It's a choice that depends on how you love the Name of the I AM... Do you love the I AM and revere the Name by not attaching any negativity or dependent spirit or needy, clingy attitude to the Name of God in you... the I AM?

People choose death when they choose to give their power to other 'gods' on this earth and put their life in their hands. The God of the Bible has never been like that, and instead of disempowering His people and making them poor, helpless, little souls, He has always empowered them.

When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and suddenly the Red Sea stood before them and the Army of Pharaoh was closing in fast behind them... Moses faltered and cried out to God. And God said "Why do you cry to Me?" Come on Moses. I AM that I AM, I AM... I AM SALVATION and I AM WITH YOU. That means you go and do it. You raise your hands. You KNOW MY NAME... USE IT!

Likewise, think of the disciples in the boat when they were afraid as Jesus slept. "Where is your faith?" Where is your capacity to feel as if your desires have been fulfilled? To not only imagine them fulfilled (to see it with your mind's eye) but to feel as it as been fulfilled (to pray believing you have received). This is faith. To see what is not and feel as if it is.

Every time you read about the Name.... stop! Think about it. The I AM.

Ask in My Name... Jesus said... and you will have whatever you pray for.

Ask in I AM... and you will have whatever you pray for.

Mystical stuff? Absolutely! I have a feeling this is just me scratching the surface. Godspeed to you all.

STAY TUNED FOR SO MUCH MORE TO COME ON THIS!
Look, I'm a Lebanese Christian who loves Jesus and blogs principally about our inheritance in Christ. However, Israel is very important to me and millions and millions of other believers in Jesus worldwide. But we are a confused body of Christ, who can not differentiate between the ancient Biblical stories that foster in us all a spiritual longing for a physical state embodying God's principles from what the reality of today's Israeli state is. I love both Jews and Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians, but I don't shy away from writing the ugly aspects of this conflict, no matter who did what, and the 100 year long war that still rages and hurts my land and people to this day. (Every once in a while I get stuck in a writer's rut or keep writing incessantly about one subject and I'm in the middle of one such feedback loop right now... for more articles on Israel and Biblcial prophecy, click here).

When I saw these words of Albert Einstein, once dubbed by some "the Greatest Jew Alive" and a man whom I admire very much, as very few people understood, I believe, such a holistic level of responsibility and who had such depth to his thinking... so anyways, I just had to write this post. Most of us don't even understand the most basic of aspects of his work - we leave that to physicists - but as a biologist myself, I'm deeply impressed by the level of awakening and social responsibility this man imbued.

Einstein loved the Jewish people, but he understood so keenly from it's inception that it was doomed to a horror beyond words. In a way, that's exactly how I found myself feeling for Israel, this great love for a people who are both my ancestors and brothers, but this great hatred for what they are building... a happy state and future built on the broken dreams and ruined aspirations of another people; in short an illusion.

In 1938, a whopping decade before the state of Israel of 1948, Einstein so accurately described what Israel's future would like today, 80 years into the future.

This is what he said:

I should much rather see reasonable agreement with the Arabs on the basis of living together in peace than the creation of a Jewish state. Apart from practical consideration, my awareness of the essential nature of Judaism resists the idea of a Jewish state with borders, an army, and a measure of temporal power no matter how modest. I am afraid of the inner damage Judaism will sustainโespecially from the development of a narrow nationalism within our own ranks, against which we have already had to fight strongly, even without a Jewish state. We are no longer the Jews of the Maccabee period. A return to a nation in the political sense of the word would be equivalent to turning away from the spiritualization of our community which we owe to the genius of our prophets. If external necessity should after all compel us to assume this burden, let us bear it with tact and patience.

Einstein was being very circumspect in this speech but his message was very clear. Einstein was not against Zionism as he defined it back in 1938, but against how it would be enforced. He understood that conquering a people through war, expelling them and then forbidding their return, denying them citizenship (West Bank, Gaza) and creating such damage (even if it was in response to an attack) would erode the sacred moral, social and intellectual position of the Jewish people. Yeah, Einstein was a genius but he was stating the obvious; for the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob as revealed to us by the Bible was not a god for whom the end could justify the means. He knew the means by which Zionism would be upheld, had to be inline with the spirit of the moral teachings of the Bible.

Einstein's deepest fear was that his people would become like the fascists he just left behind in Germany. If you don't understand what he was trying to say, just on the eve of WWII and the holocaust that would claim 6 million Jewish lives, he understood that the State of Israel that would be built on the ruins and expulsion of another people (the Palestinians; if they even are 'another' people) would destroy the inner soul of Israel - it would doom a nation to being an oppressor; for Einstein this was the ultimate low point no matter how much economic and scientific success would be achieved. [These are Einstein's recorded general views on such topics.]

Instead, Einstein wanted a home for the Jewish people that would embody the very essence of Judaism, that would mean building a state where tikkun olam (a Hebrew saying meaning the repair of the world) would be the first and most principle driving force for themselves and their neighbors.

Today, I wonder what is their game-plan for the 4 million people living under the control of the Israeli Army in the West Bank and Gaza who have no citizenship, no freedom of movement; whose lands are constantly appropriated, half of whom are refugees from areas that are now modern day marvels just across a giant wall, whose olive groves and vineyards are being uprooted, burnt and then stolen, whose waters are constantly being forcibly taken. What is the Israeli government's game-plan?

Will it be to expel them? Could it be genocide? No one's saying the Palestinians are blameless in this war (as a Lebanese, I understand this very clearly since I know what that the PLO's plan in Lebanon was to do to us what had been done to them). I understand very clearly that the spirit of the air, the world, he is satan, he instills in peoples a recurring curse; the evils done to them, they begin to do to others and don't realize they transform themselves into the image of the ones they hate and become worse. I say this of all the peoples of Israel and the Middle East alike. You don't fight such evil and darkness by doing more evil and dark things. You overcome evil with good.

So is there a way out? I believe there is: click here for more on that.
We all love stories, in every culture and and land, nation and ethnicity, the narrative is so important to how societies function. There is hardly a land right now that so desperately needs a new narrative more than the Levant - the area encompassing the Eastern Mediterranean with the countries of Israel, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

Some of these countries have implemented narratives in their education system - Syria's decades old, Assad dynasty implemented a narrative that unraveled in 2011 (the war in Syria is a result of a failed narrative and is now being rewritten in fact). Jordan's Hashemite kingdom seemed to have more success. Lebanon had a narrative that has been on literally hold since its 15 year so-called civil war starting in 1976 - though the war ended 27 years ago, our history lessons at school stop at the year the civil war starts. Palestinians have had a changing narrative that has imprisoned generations of Palestinians into perpetual grief, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-victimization and hate for decades with no end sight. And Israel - well Israel has what they think is a Biblical narrative but it is not, and more importantly, is rejected by at least a fifth of their own citizens, not to mention the entire number of Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza who are in fact, subjects of the Israeli government in one way or another.

So of these narratives, some claim to be historical, others are based on ethnicity, religion and history but the vast majority of them are steeped in problems. I believe that all the narratives of the Levant have failed and for those that have not led to disaster (like in Lebanon, Syria and the Palestinian territories), eventually they too will collapse.

But there is a Biblical narrative that no body seems to have grasped and understood. This Biblical narrative is today backed by history and science like it never has before. Rather than going through the whole thing, here's the place we get it all wrong.

Number 1: "Israel" the country does not mean the 12 tribes of Israel.

Number 2: The Jewish people are only 1 tribe - The promised land, covenant people of God are the 12 tribes of Israel and here's the thing - the Jewish people of today represent, for the most part, only a single of those tribes.

Number 3: It's not a conflict between Ishmael and Isaac. Palestinians - genetically speaking - are part Jewish, part Israelite, part Esau and even part Arab.

Number 4: Most of Lebanese and a huge proportion of Syrians are Jewish and Israelite in origins.

Number 5: Many Jews and Israelites forgot their history, but their genes and names didn't! There's much in a name. The history of family names provides a shocking picture - many of the names among Muslim and Christian families are purely Israelite and Jewish names of ancient biblical origins, that their bearers are completely ignorant of. Moreover, genetic studies of the day (those of 20 years ago do not count because today's studies are vastly more complex in orders of magnitude) really confirm the common origins shared between Jews, Christians of the Levant, most Lebanese and many Syrian communities. Palestinian Muslims have a lot of Jewish blood but genetic studies show they mixed with Jordanian and Arabian ancestries, not surprisingly since they were connected to the wider Sunni nation.

Number 6: Ancient Levantine Christian communities hold the key. Many Christians of Palestine, Syria and all of those of Lebanon are virtually identical to Middle Eastern Jewish communities today in the genetic sense of the word. They are in fact, distinct from adjacent, down-the-street neighborly communities. In other words, our Jewish brothers of Spain and Morocco in the Western Mediterranean are identical to Maronite in the heart of Lebanon for example. Moreover, the history and liturgy of these communities also testifies to this lost connection that once was remember but now is forgotten. These ancient Christian tribes are essential because they can serve as a bridge. We should have done this 70 and 100 years and not be discussing it now, but I think peace is never a too-late option.

So what's the new narrative that we need to work on? A narrative of Israelites long forgotten who now remember.

It's that yes, the Jewish people have returned but there are more Jewish and Israelite people right there in the land who have forgotten their roots and their re-unification with the Jewish peoples who identify themselves as such, is indeed the goal of this new, biblically-rooted but soundly scientific and historical narrative.

This means that Israeli Jews need to start looking at themselves as the forerunners of a revived Israelite kingdom and have to completely change their world outlook. It also means that we have to reeducate the entire peoples of the Levant to stop seeing each other as enemies but as members of the same family. (I know, even if we were not of the same family we as believers in Jesus should work for peace and make it ourselves 'Blessed are the peacemakers' and this happens constantly among the children of God. But this is a hidden mystery that only is revealed that would help tremendously in bringing peace).

You may ask if this is realistic? I think in our age of global and social media, it is. Very few people today, understand history. This is true of the Middle East as any other place. But with social media, these narratives (for business, Western politics, and global issues) are constantly being produced and rewritten and adopted at phenomenally fast rates. We need to start doing this for good purposes, and not producing 'fake news' but true, life-changing news.

Today, the Israelis don't think peace is a viable option. In fact, there is a real danger that Israel turns into a pre-1939 Germany like state. In those days, Nazi Germany vilified the Jews as a different people with a different agenda and history... it ultimately led to the unthinkable; mass genocide.

On the other hand, Palestinians have failed to produce a viable, non-violent form of resistance, and have in fact suppressed their history with shared Jewish ancestry.

When you keep doing the same thing and expect different results, it's called insanity, said Einstein once upon a time. 70 years on, I think it's time we start making the impossible, possible, and with God's help we will succeed.

The Peace of Yeshua Jesus be upon you all.

Great tragedy, great miracles and great upheavals... 70 years on after the creation of the state of Israel, feelings are confounding and uplifting, a mix of fulfilled prophecy and profound pain. Any one who understands the God of the Bible will understand that the so-called Nation of Israel (the return of the tribe of Judah specifically and not necessarily all the tribes of Israel) to their land is miraculous. And likewise, they will understand the tragedy suffered by the Palestinians, people who have lived and tilled their land for hundreds years before.

I've written elsewhere about how many of the regions people's are really Jewish and Israelites, people of whom it is told "you are not God's people" (see Hos 1:10; Ps 87) end up actually being Israelites and people of the birthright, genetically speaking. (It's only with today's technology could we have discovered this and the surprising thing is that the many enemies of the State of Israel, both from within and without, are all children of Israel!).

But here's another wrench in the machine of war and our neat but false ideologies. The rivalry between many of the Palestinians of today and Israel is one between two twin brothers of Biblical ages, Esau and Jacob. Could this be?

Firstly, check out the story if you're not familiar with in Genesis 25 (click here). Basically, Esau was the firstborn of Isaac, who was the heir of Abraham, Esau knew the promises of God to Abraham and they were passed to him by his father. Though Esau knew it, he regarded his birthright very lightly. People in the Middle East, you'd be surprised how casually they say things, both positive and negative. Words have little meaning and depth, from absurdly dark cursing to over the stars flattery - both are words cheaply spoken.

So when one day Esau comes home from the hunt with ravaging hunger and smells's his younger twin brother's delicious stew brewing, "Oh forget my birthright brother take it and give me soup cuz I'm starving to death!" Words said in jest maybe, but it reveals a deeper betrayal that somehow had taken root in Esau.

Did Esau regret his decision? Very much so, but he only realized this when Jacob (with his mother's help) deceptively stole Isaac's blessings! (I really am at a loss to explain this on various levels... indeed, Isaac's family wasn't whole to say the least, number one, and number two, how can someone steal a blessing? why is there a limited amount of blessing? things to ponder...)

Today, many of the Palestinians are heirs of Esau (along with Jordanians btw). It's true that many Palestinians and Israeli Arabs are indeed of Jewish and Israelite origins as you can see in the links to my other articles above. There is no doubt to this today. But I think most Palestinians are ancestors of Esau and then Arabians (descendants of Ishmael proper, who dwelt in the deserts of the Arabian peninsula and following the conquest of the land by Islamic tribes of Arabia mixed with the ancestors of Palestinians as they converted to Islam).

Could it be that Palestinians still suffer from the regret of their forefather?

I do not know, but the fact that Palestinians have lost the promised land and for 70 years have been incapable either of moving or constructively fighting to regain it speaks volumes. Palestinians in my opinion have been on the bitter end of two swords - the Israeli sword of occupation, doubtless but secondly, an even more powerful sword, the sword of generational regret, self-victimization and hatred. They are prisoners of these generational curses and for 70 years have been trapped unable to either fight a morally superior battle to the occupation and unable to invest in the future of their people.

So what are we to do?

1. There is a great spiritual significance in this story

That significance is that as born again children of the Living God, as followers of Jesus, know your ultimate birthright. The birthright of who you are - a son and daughter of the Living God (Hos 1:10) and your ultimate inheritance... the Holy Spirit. And then treasure it! Don't consider it cheap or not worth your time and effort to discover it. I start this blog five years ago precisely to explore the vast land of our inheritance and I doubt I'm even a fraction of the way there even after 329 articles!

2. If you're a follower of Jesus and Jewish or Israeli...

Ask yourself if you are capable of understanding your history and able to really own it? Ask yourself if keeping a nation of 4 million individuals in the world's largest prison (Gaza and to a lesser extent the West Bank) is a right and justifiable in any way even considering the horror of the Holocaust? Ask yourself if keeping Arabs as second class citizens in some way is right in your country? Ask yourselves if it is right to fail to compensate the refugees of 1948 and 1967? Ask yourself if seeing God's promises fulfilled at the expense of your moral and spiritual compass makes any sense? Ask yourself why aren't the blessed peacemakers exalted enough?

These tough questions and those who answer them in Truth will begin to experience healing like never before.

3. If you're a follower of Jesus and Palestinian...

Ask yourself if you really trust God? Can you see God as your rewarder? Do you really trust in Him? Than if you do, begin to align your actions with your identity in God and wonderful things will happen. God has told us to fight darkness with light, not with darkness. In you, you have the capacity to love, to forgive, and to be victorious in a way that will confound the world.

This is the world's most profound conflict. And I say it can be solved. One of it's key's to this peace is that the people's of the region are brothers in the closest degree. The Children of Israel are in Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, and even Syria. They are all the tribes of Israel and they are all fighting each other. This is no accident of history and if you've ever wondered about the Holocaust, anti-semitism and the perpetual blood shed of the Promised Land and its wars in Israel, Lebanon, Syria... the answer lies in the fact that the real enemy of humanity - Satan - is doing everything he can to destroy God's Kingdom and Reputation. He's desperately trying to keep the land flooded in blood and drenched in the darkness of hatred and violence. Realizing this and awakening the peacemaker and royal priesthood of every believer is the key to reversing the enemy's works!

Most people won't think of this. It's not Satan, some conspiracy or end time prophecy of doom. It's not a nation, or religion, or political system or party. It's something very, very close to the heart... in fact, it is precisely something that can reside in your heart.
Want to know what it is?

In one word - Guilt.

Many of us think feeling guilty is the right thing to do. And so naturally their lives are so focused on their sins causing their guilt. The most frequent thing in their prayers and in their talks with God is not His Love, Grace and Glory... no, it's just sin, sin, sin... well with a mindset like that where will you go?

The truth is that as a true, real, child of God in whom the Spirit of the Most High resides - you are righteous in Christ, forever... not in the past, not in the present... but in the past, present and future!

You say, but wait, how can I be cleansed and made pure, forever? I get it that it works for the past, but how can you say it works for my sins of today and tomorrow, too?

Friend, if when you sin you don't feel bad, you're not a real Christian, you're not a temple of the Spirit of God. Every believer in Jesus that is true and real will hate sin in their lives - but that does not mean they need to carry a Guilty Conscience. In fact, this guilty conscience betrays an ignorance of what Jesus has done. It is because we do not understand the significance of Blood in the Bible and the Sacrifice and if we do, we only understand it from the mindset of the Old Covenant without a Revelation of who Jesus truly is.

Crash course in the Biblical concept of Sacrifice

The book of Leviticus is not your everyday book but it was one of the most powerful pictures of Jesus repeated over and over and over. I will not go into details at all here. Simply, I want you to see what people did when bringing an offering of a bull, goat or sheep - the person making the offering (and there are several kinds, etc) had to put their hand on the head of the bull.

When the person placed their hand on the bull or animal, a spiritual transference occurred... the perfect animal (i.e. without any defects or blemishes) became sinful with the sinfulness of that person. The person's uncleanness and unholiness and transgressions and sin and GUILT was transferred to the animal. Then the animal would be killed, it's blood sprinkled in various places, it's parts burned or disposed of according to the sacrifice type.

The key part I want you to see is the transference happened with the laying on of the person's hand on the animal's head. That person took the animal's perfection (sinlessless, holiness, purity, clean conscience) and transferred his guilt and sin, etc to the animal.

The animal is a picture of JESUS and the sacrifice is a picture of what Jesus did for us - but with ONE BIG DIFFERENCE... that Sacrifice had to be done daily, frequently, yearly, whatever it had be done over and over. But that's not the same thing with Jesus! You see, the animal here is a picture of Jesus who is called the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world by John the Baptist, a Levitical Priest himself, who according to Jesus was the greatest among those born of women!

We who are in Christ, who are true, Spirit-dwellings of the Most High, guess what? Well, this transference has already occurred and stretches the fabric of time itself to go and cover our past and future sins!

And by that will [i.e. the New Covenant or Testament], we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all... And where these have been forgiven, an offering for sin is no longer needed. Heb 10:10,18

It's difficult for us to comprehend because it is Grace and we are not used to Grace! Grace is not something the world has done a very good job teaching us (in fact, it never teaches us Grace). The greatest travesty in the church today is this utter confusion about Grace and the Covenants and the Baptisms and all this. We do not understand! We are mixed up. One second we speak Grace - the Ministry of the Spirit (as Paul calls it in 2 Cor 3) and then the next sentence, we speak the Ministry of Death, the Law, the Letter!

Take home this one thing - Jesus' Sacrifice is a SINGLE sacrifice for ALL time -your time, your life.

So what happens when people don't realize this? What happens to people who hold onto a guilty conscience because they think it's the right (aka religious) thing to do?

A Guilty Conscience darkens your image of God so you see Him as judging, condemning and hateful when He is forgiving, blessing and loving.

A Guilty Conscience doesn't allow you to see the Blood of Jesus and His Grace, so that you live in the ministry of Death (the Law).

A Guilty Conscience, therefore, attracts the curse (Deut 28).

A Guilty Conscience - this is why it is so dangerous - attracts the enemy, just as it did to Job. (please read this to understand more about this)

A Guilty Conscience robs you of everything God has done for you.

If it's sunny, the sun will be darkened in your eyes. If you are blessing, suddenly fear of the curse comes. If you are righteous, you can not enjoy the Lord because you feel guilty. If you see visions, dark will be your visions. And most dangerous of all, a guilty conscience opens up a real door for spiritual attacks that leads to very, real, physical consequence.

And yet there's something worse! What happens when you are one who is teaching others in the "ministry" or at home as a parent, etc? Wow! That's where SO much damage is done.

Close that door by asking God to see His Grace, right now, today. You can either search in this blog about His Grace or go and search elsewhere (see for example, Mel Bond). But wherever you go, please go and ask the Spirit of God to show you this. Don't delay this. For a good start click here to read this post.

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way opened for us through the curtain of His body, and since we have a high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Heb 10:19-22

I want to get straight to the point. You are a believer in Jesus who has read and known of Jesus' miracles in the Gospels and the amazing Acts of the early Church. You greatly long for the touch of the Holy Spirit as You have in mind Jesus' promises for not only His Spirit but His greater works too (John 14:26, John 16:7)

The Works I do shall you do and greater works than these shall you do... John 14:12

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well. Mk 16:17,18

But where does that leave you? Why aren't you experiencing more of the Holy Spirit and these miracles? Is it because of the teachings you hear or the church you go to (or don't go to)? Is it because of a certain sin, hidden or known? Is it your ancestry? Or was that really just for another time?

We get all sorts of questions, and I will get to the major points in a second, but before I do, let me say that 20 years ago I decided to follow Jesus - whatever that means. Even though I very rarely went to church during that time and had very few, but a very precious few, solid believing friends I grew in my walk with the Lord and my study of the Scriptures. Though no one taught me how to do this, I suddenly began speaking in tongues about one year after I accepted the Lord (whatever that means too). About 10 years later, I would hear and recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit, very clearly and very frequently. Five years later I began to actually see, experience and perform miracles of various kinds, such as healings and even a single exorcism (telling a demon to leave a person). I have written about how to jump into these things elsewhere (*see below for more info).

So very early in my walk with the Lord on I began speaking in tongues, years later I began hearing the Lord's Spirit, then years after that - seeing and performing miracles. And now, just now, literally not two months from this day, I have been experiencing a flood of prophetic dreams, visions, and words, seeing Jesus, angels and other things and you can read about that all here on this page (click here) including 'how to' articles.

The goal of me writing all this today, is that I want your Spirit-Life to accelerate and hope you don't have to wait 20 years like I did and if you have waited a long time or even longer than me, please by all means do not put this off... this is YOUR INHERITANCE IN CHRIST... it's yours and it's God's delight that you plunge in and desire to enjoy it and serve Him as you do so.

Here are the things you must deal with to position yourself to plunge in this amazing world:

1) Understand what the Kingdom is... then seek it FIRST

Anytime you see a FIRST in the Bible. pay attention! Jesus' key to abundant life started with such a first. Seek First His Kingdom and His Righteousness and All These Things shall be Added to you. Mt 6:33

Here is what the Kingdom of God actually means, this is how you define it: The Kingdom of God is the Reign, Authority and Power of Jesus Christ made manifest in your life, on earth and in the world.

That's why Jesus taught us to pray "Your kingdom come."

Let me ask you, have you reached a revelation about the Kingdom, His Righteousness (not yours!) and what SEEKING it FIRST and above everything means?

If you set your mind on Seeking God's Kingdom and His righteousness first, you build your life in such a way that will be prepared for the work of the Holy Spirit. This is why it's so important.

If this was a requirement for basic things of life (Mat 6:33), how much more the deeper, spiritual aspects of our walk with God?

2) Repent - this means you need to let go of your self-sufficiency

The concept of repentance is another loaded term (very often abused and misrepresented in my opinion). Jesus came preaching the Kingdom saying "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." In other words, the first words of Jesus in preaching was about the Kingdom and Repentance, that's how crucial and important this topic is.

But repentance for the one who is a child of God is not about crying and feeling guilty and condemning and then asking God to forgive so you can feel better and then doing it all over again. This is the world's concept of repentance and it has infiltrated the church and kept Christians weighed so much with guilt that they are spiritually, dwarves unable to grow. Friends, this is what GUILT does; this is what thinking about your sins does. People in the church are so focused on "my sins, my sins, my sins" every second word is about their sins. Well who is being exalted in their life like this? Is it the power, reign and authority of Christ (the Kingdom and Jesus the King)? Or is it encouraging them to be bound to this cycle of sin and guilt?

Don't get me wrong, the only reason I can write so confidently that your sins are forgiven is because of the ultimate Sacrifice on our behalf because of all the sins of each and every person, past, present and future... that Sacrifice was made by the Son of God, on the Cross!

Child of God, YOU are totally forgiven not only now, and yesterday but also tomorrow and forever. That's the power of the Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross. Can you understand this?

Where does that leave repentance? Repentance is about letting go of your self-sufficiency - it's about changing your heart and mind about your sense of self-sufficiency. You see, self-sufficiency is the ROOT of each and every sin you will ever commit. Really it is!

But when you start repenting in this way and I daresay, living a lifestyle of repentance you will start to bear fruit of repentance which is such a good and effortless thing! The key is to let go of your self-sufficiency.

Why is this so important? Because in order to experience the Holy Spirit and let Him work with mighty results in your life, you need to learn to trust and yield to the Lord.

Which brings us to the next thing.

3) Righteous Living - Realize it's EASIER to yield to Righteousness than to sin

I want to credit a guy called Mel Bond for showing me this statement. All he did was put the word 'easy' in Paul's letters to Romans a few times and yet what an ANOINTED word! How strategically it was placed - for me, at least. Why? Because it tore off spiritual scales on my eyes that made me think it was not only hopeless for me to expect victory over sin but that it was always a battle to avoid sin in the first place. And that's the mistake we are all doing as children of God.

Those of us who are indwelt by God's Holy Spirit - I'm addressing my bros, sisters, it's already EASY for us to yield to Righteousness! But we're so focused on resisting sin. Do you see the difference? One mindset is focused on fighting sin and the flesh, when instead all we need to do is RELAX and YIELD to God's Righteousness in us as we see and understand the Cross and what Jesus accomplished for us already.

This is the way to experience real and quick results, no kidding (click here for more on this). And why is this so important?

Again, this teaches you to start yielding God. It's a very spiritual exercise that may not seem like it's filled with the Spirit, or the Spirit's gifts, or the supernatural, but it is a spiritual discipline that is absolutely key to experience more of the Lord and His greater works.

That was just a warm up! Are you ready to really start?

4) Awaken your spirit

What does it mean to be born again?

We hear it from many people, especially evangelical circles. I say I'm born again and have said it for two decades. But let me tell you a secret. We've been using it ALL wrong!!!

Whoa! Really? Really. Here's why: Being born again is entirely spiritual, not intellectual or rational.

Let me elaborate. Jesus said unless we're born of the Spirit, born again, we can not see the Kingdom of God (see John 3:3,5). In other words, we are born on this side of eternity, with a spirit waiting to be born! But until Jesus comes and lets His Spirit birth your spirit, and obviously you're willingness has a role to play, this does not happen. So those who are not yet children of God are not born again and as result they can not see the manifestation of the power, authority and reign of Jesus or in other words, the Kingdom of Heaven.

But then, why are so many believers in Jesus unable to see His Kingdom manifest?

I believe every child of God is born again but not all of us are awake or cognizant (2 Cor 5:17) of the fact that our spirit has really been born anew! We don't realize that being a New Creation (as Paul spoke of here) is a very spiritual experience.

Most Christians operate their Christianity on a purely intellectual and rational level but have very little if any spiritual and Spirit-Fire experiences. Let me elaborate.

You see long ago Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and his spirit life fell. There was a spiritual death that occurred, long before there was physical death in his body but his rational mind and heart remained intact. So today all humans are born with their intellect, their mind, intact but there's a part of us - our spirit - that are not yet born.

What happens when one person becomes a true believer in Jesus and His Finished Sacrifice of the Cross? Their spirit is born! But there is a clash between the rational part of our soul against the new spirit and creation. The rational part of us is not willing to really accommodate the spirit, afterall we've lived years with our rationale and now that we are 'born again Christians' we continue to live as rational beings but this part of our being fights with the new spirit in us.

Most Christians, including myself, live by the rational part of our being and we therefore need to learn to live in total harmony with the spiritual part of our beings. Some people think being spiritual is being stupid. Not at all! Our spirit and mind were made to work together as one, in perfect and amazing harmony. (Please click here for more on this).

5) Seek the Spirit and let Him lead you

Which brings us to our final point. No, there is no magic formula. And maybe even if you have wanted this so badly, I hope you now realize it requires a major paradigm shift in our thinking. This is what Paul meant when said our minds had to be renewed (Rom 12:1) because the world has been teaching us to only think in the mind and the ways of our mind are far more mature than our new, baby spirit.

But what is then, spiritual growth? It is simply to learn more of how to CONNECT with the HOLY SPIRIT in every situation you find yourself on a daily basis.

In His teaching on how we needed pray, Jesus encouraged and almost pleaded us to ask for the Spirit:

So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!โ Luke 11:13

The Holy Spirit dwelling in us - who is God Almighty and God is the Spirit - is our greatest Inheritance in Christ! Greatest!

Ok, now what? - one word - YIELD to the SPIRIT

No matter how many churches you go to, sermons you hear, prayers that are prayed for you or books you read, if you're not really advancing in the things of the Spirit, nor experiencing Him more even though you greatly desire to see His touch and experience Him more... here is the Key Message in all of this - LEARN TO YIELD TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is a spiritual exercise that you need to train yourself on. It involves a heart that truly seeks the Kingdom, a repentant attitude as I defined above, living righteously and working out His Righteousness in our very lives, being awake to our New Spirits and asking and waiting for the Holy Spirit.

All that is in one phrase - LEARN TO YIELD TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. Take baby steps and don't be afraid! Always remember, that if you focus on your sins and not on the Cross and Jesus' Righteousness, that's a recipe for spiritual stagnation and many workings of spiritual (and physical) death. Always remember, you are fully forgiven and it is His desire for you to thrive spiritually and live abundant lives, more abundant that anything the world can give you or imagine.

So press forward! Yield to the Holy Spirit! And greater things are coming for you! May the Lord enlighten your eyes with spiritual understanding and multiply His Grace to you. I can't wait for the outpouring that is about to come on your life. Amen.

Let me elaborate. Jesus said unless we're born of the Spirit, born again, we can not see the Kingdom of God (see John 3:3,5). His Kingdom is the manifestation of the power, reign and authority of Jesus Christ - here on earth and in your life, as it is in Heaven too.

So what does it mean? It means that we are born on this side of eternity, with a spirit waiting to be born!

I believe every child of God is born again but not all of us are awake or cognizant of the fact that our spirit has really been born anew! We don't realize that being a New Creation is a very spiritual experience (like Paul said in 2 Cor 5:17).

Take a look at most Christians and Churches (not the buildings, but the peoples). Every activity they do is directed by the rational part of their beings for the most part. Bible study? They treat that like studying biology at university. Prayer? That's a work of the mind ticking of mental check lists. Worship? Let's find the best techniques, the best songs and see what people like best. Evangelism? Don't get me started! There are many who think this is a formula of careful techniques you should follow!

You see, through and through, we're not used to living in the spirit because our spirits are just new born! We literally have no idea what to do with our new born spirits. Unless we begin to nurture our spirit with spiritual milk and then solid food, we remain stunted in our spiritual growth (there's another term that's used by the church in a completely rational and spirit-less way).

Listen carefully to what Paul said beautifully:

We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:12-14

The first Adam, died spiritually - the Second Adam, came to make us born again!

You see long ago Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and his spirit life fell. There was a spiritual death that occurred, long before there was physical death in his body but his rational mind and heart remained intact. So today all humans are born with their intellect, their mind, intact but there's a part of us - our spirit - that is not yet born.

So it is written: โThe first man Adam became a living being;โ the last Adam a life-giving spirit. The spiritual, however, was not first, but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so also are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so also shall we bear the likeness of the heavenly man. 1 Cor 15:46-49

What happens when one person becomes a true believer in Jesus and His Finished Sacrifice of the Cross? Their spirit is born! But there is a clash between the rational part of our soul against the new spirit and creation. The rational part of us is not willing to really accommodate the spirit, afterall we've lived years with our rationale and the spiritual is very new, other-worldy (of heaven) and just down-right risky in the view of our rationale part. So now that we are 'born again Christians' we continue to live as rational beings but the rational part of our being fights with the new spirit in us.

The Holy Spirit does not operate like the spirituality of the world

Most Christians, including myself, live by the rational part of our being and need to learn to live in total harmony with the spiritual part of our beings - this is a process, but it can be accelerated. Now some people think being spiritual is being stupid - and I don't blame them. When you see pastors spraying pesticides on their congregants' faces for their healing, what can any sane person think (I saw an article in the news about this, no kidding)! But there are also tonnes of people in the church who think being spiritual and rationale are are two mutually exclusive activities and that you if you use your mind you can not listen to the Spirit or obey spiritually. This is nonesense!

The reason why the church believes this nonesense is because they think the Holy Spirit operates like demon spirits... I'm being totally serious.

Ever watch Harry Potter? Come on, I know you did. I've got this picture in mind, its a character, Prof. Sybill Trawleny who taught divination (I had to google that one)- one day Harry goes back to put one of those crystal balls that had fallen and the professor turns to Harry and with an other-worldly (i.e. demonic) voice, and her eyeballs rolled up, speaks a dark prophecy to him. Some people - both those who claim to operate in the Holy Spirit and those who call themselves cessationists meaning they don't believe in this age of miracles by the Spirit - think that the Holy Spirit works like that, with scary voices and your eyes rolled back 180 degrees to the back of your head.

When the Holy Spirit speaks and operates through you keep in mind, He's the Spirit of Jesus! How would Jesus comport Himself? Did He have to wring His finger in fancy robes and change the tone of His voice and shout like a mad man?

He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not extinguish, till He leads justice to victory. Mat 12:19,20

The apostle James spoke about what the ways of Wisdom and of God:

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good conduct, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast in it or deny the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness. Jam 3:13-18

Our spirit and mind were made to work together as one, in perfect and amazing harmony. That some can not see that or are ignorant of that, let it be. You go ahead and sharpen your spiritual skills all the while using your God-given intelligence.
Being born again - the best of both worlds

This means that when you are born again not only do you now have access to heavenly wisdom to sharpen your mind like never before but you also have a new universe of spiritual living to explore. You now have access, unlimited access, at unlimited speeds, to the Holy Spirit... so much is this access open, that in fact the Holy Spirit comes and lives in you giving LIFE through your spirit to your body and mind (Rom 8:11).

I hope you take time today to ask the Lord about these things. Are you ready to awaken your spirit? Check this link out for more on the boundless inheritance of the Holy Spirit!

(A vision of the seven elders)

One day while walking I was praying in the Spirit, I saw in a vision seven men - who at first seemed like some of the 24 elders (Rev 4), but try as I may I could not see neither the rest of the 24 nor the throne which was near the 24. In fact, these 7 men were rather grey and gloomy-looking fellows, very tall and slender and had rather grey hair to their shoulders.

They gave me a vial or cup or chest of some sort, but it had no lid and carried something white, the whiteness of which was not brilliant but rather dull but compared to their grayness it stood out. I took it and instinctively knew I had to go and present myself to the Father, but I had to specifically go to Him as the Judge of all Nations on behalf of these somber fellows. I went up to Him and as I was doing so, I knew what I had to do because I saw the national emblem of my country, only it was a very uncommon color, it was white. The white color of the national emblem represented purity and I understood I had to pray on behalf of these elders for the nation, for repentance and speak the Blood of Jesus upon them because of it.

So I proceeded to the Throne and with this vial of white stuff I came and presented it to the Lord and laid it at His feet or on the floor. I also bought near the Blood of Jesus to myself, my family and house, far and near, and to all my country, every area, and upon them all I sprinkled the blood (I was doing precisely Lev 1:5 on purpose). I then repented on their behalf for all of them to the Lord, I repented of: corruption - greed - idolatry - religion - lust - violence - falsehood... I then realized when writing the vision that they were 7 sins, equal to the number of elders.
The mystery of the Vial.

Frankincense

It wasn't shiny, nor did it glisten like snow but these grey men wanted me to give it to the Lord. I believe it was prayer represented as Frankincense. I also now remember that I burned somehow this white stuff, probably on a small censer of some sort before bringing near the Blood of the Lamb. We know that incense represents prayers in the Bible. In Hebrew Frankincense is "Lebounah" and comes from the root word to be "white".

The mystery of the Seven Elders

The elders I saw here were grey. They gave me this Vial of Frankincense, because they could not pray. The grayness represents the fact that they were neither pure and white like the people of God nor black like the enemy's sons. Instead, I believe the vision of these elders had several layers of meanings. They represented my family, the leaders of my nations and also the elders of the church. They represented a people of spiritual mixture, good and evil, dark and light, the children of God and those who are not, at the same time and indeed, such as is the general population of any nation.

How do you apply this to your life?

This is the Royal Priesthood! You hear about this just a few times, from Peter, who quotes the Old Testament and in Revelations; understand this is one of those things the church of 2000 years ago was either not so familiar with or for one reason or another did not write much of it in a direct fashion. Yet, there is tonnes written about the Royal Priesthood, here and there, in the Bible. The champion of this call is Daniel who interceded on behalf of his nation, although we are not told anything about his authority or right to do so. He seemed to know that he had to do this, so he just did it.

Today, if you are a born again, born of the Spirit, son or daughter of God, you are of the same priestly order of Jesus Christ (see Heb 8)!
